We didn’t let Eriksen’s fast goal get distracted by the early infringement
You mean the one with the infringing kickoff? Every kickoff has an infringement (Lingard was in our end as well) just like every throw-in is foul in the PL. BT were just stirring the pot. Offsides are a different matter.

Allardyce set up in a 7-2-1 today with two pacey but erratic wide men and a mediocre at best finisher up front. It looks like a recipe for disaster. Not getting in Arse's faces as all, playing right into their hands.

Swansea had a great blueprint on how to get at Arse as a smaller side but Sam's gone with his old ways and is going to get hammered.

2-0 and again, just stupidly easy.
Not good that they're winning emphatically but I do hope this is a final nail in fat sams blueprint. His old style is outdated which is great for football as less teams will try it and opt to get in other teams faces, as you say.

Anyway, let arsenal cream themselves about this. They're only ever a corner away from a shock loss (although it's not much of a shock anymore)

Lol. How bad must Everton be to be losing to Arsenal by such a margin. Arse are truly an average side. I wonder if the pundits will point out just how bad Everton are!

Was hoping for some blood and thunder from Everton maybe a few bruising tackles and the odd red card for a reaction from the goons but Everton are so poor they’re just letting them play around them

I see nothing here that we need to be afraid of. I’m actually looking forward to the NLD more than usual.

The biggest losers in this debacle are the paying, traveling Everton fans.

Shelling out good moolah to follow a team that is not attempting to win or at the very least even draw a game.

A disgraceful state but becoming more prevalent in this new brand of football.

Perfect example of a team with questionable mentality, easy wins when you're in your comfort zone at home, away from home struggle against teams when their put under pressure.

Arsenal have been clinical, Everton look slow and generally out of sorts.

Xhaka is still a terrible footballer. Seriously, he sucks.

I remember when they signed him. Many here were distraught. I thought they were getting a prime Franz Beckenbauer with a bit of Roy Keane thrown in for good measure. He’s bang average

Fat Sam probably hoping for a summer payoff.
I'v often wondered about that.
If you put a person in the position where if they fail they get a bigger pay day than if they'd robbed a fkin bank then you have to question that point I think.
THEY WOULDNT DO THAT.
People kill each other for less.
Some would do that imo. Impossible to prove. The perfect crime.

Everton are pathetic, I said it before when we smashed them but they're probably the worst team I've seen us play all season over the course of the 2 games. All that money spent and they're nowhere near that top 6, probably a level below Burnley and Leicester as well.

Surely some managers have some kind of contract clauses where if they've been crap and get sacked they don't get a massive payout? Obviously it would have to be precisely defined (win % etc..)

Bournemouth are above Everton again, with a substantially better goal difference.

Credit to Eddie Howe?

They're very much a sleeping giant though.

When they get rid of blubber guts Allardyce and finally get someone decent in then they will threaten the top 6 at some point with the amount of money available to spend.

Might take them a long while but they will eventually.
