PGMOL had to put out a statement. Moss, somewhat idiotically, asked the 4th official what he saw on TV. Since watching replays is not permitted, and that was left lingering out there, people would begin to assume officials are using replays to help make calls.

Thus, the statement was required - and it only applied to the first pen call.
Oh, that was a bit silly of him. I haven't seen any football all weekend. Just assumed it was due to the Liverpool pressure

When they throw the book at Klopp I hope they double the fine because he encroached out of the technical area too!

Now that it is more than 36 hours after the scenes at Anfield it should be Klopp and vD sat in front of a
panel with tv/video technology and both be shown the various angles of events and also the rule book.

Instead of being allowed to spout rubbish and distorted views.

It would be lovely to hear Klopp say 'yeah it was a kick on Alli' Not gonna happen

Well...I've had a little word with the stadium designers, it appears they agree with my thinking that a touchline trap door is the way forward.

Klopp gallops down the touchline of our new stadium, fist pumping, teeth in full splendour. One foot on concealed trap door...Bye!.

Ooh...don't worry peeps, Gemma Collins will be present to cushion his fall.

The fact these 2 seem to have got away scott free is outrageous, any other club would be hit with bans and fines.

If he did it in the street it would be an assault. Can't be doing that, England international or not.

There are lots of things that, if they happened in the street would result in an assault charge, but because of where they happen, nothing is done.
Prime example being the kicking my son received at school before Christmas, that left him with a concussion.

That’s disgusting from Lallana. If he did that in the Premier League he’d be getting a long ban.

I'd never thought he was the sort who could get riled up like that. Especially in a U23 game which there is literally nothing riding on.

That sort of thing should mean a lengthy ban from all football.

It’s probably cos it was only an u23 match I don’t think he’d dare do it against someone his own size, remember how upset he got when clattenburg said to him “you’ve changed”?

This is actually literally true. The last time Liverpool fans were frothing over referees on Twitter was this red card:

You say that - I've been thinking there a quite a few players in the Prem now that have taken on real
bad attitudes in the last 18 months or so, unable to control their agression, maybe this a side effect of some legal high?

Just when I thought they couldn't make me cringe any further.... :wtf:

Lovren, what a fuckin goat, embarrassing. For the record I don't even think that was a dive from Dele, looked more like he lost his balance, didn't appeal and got straight up.

No sorry, one has to simply admit that Dele "dived"/fell to the ground too easily, anticipating a touch that never came. Correctly booked.

He didn't appeal because the ref blew up and reached for his card before he even hit the ground. Embarrassing dive.
