The FA should do the right thing and move the tie, and also ensure Rochdale keep a pitch suitable for the professional standard of the EFL. They should be otherwise punished and made to play all games away from home.

Nothing will be done I'm sure and we'll be made to play on that ploughed field/beach and no doubt the combination of lower league Cloggers and the rubbish pitch will contribute to at least one pretty serious ankle injury.

We cannot risk Kane, Alli, Eriksen, Vertonghen, Dembele under any circumstances on that pitch.

Fucking hell. Hope we can avoid playing on that somehow..... Not for the injury risk, but because you just know we would come out, try and play our intricate passing game (especially amongst the defence/keeper), and then look absolutely perplexed as for some reason we cant get our game going and keep getting in trouble as the ball sticks on the pitch for the nth time :nailbiting:

Jim White ( Talksport ) talking about this pitch now, and they just said Toby Alderweireld is going to be on soon to talk about it.

They are saying its worse than the old Baseball Ground at Derby

The 1980s are offering their long ball game to Spurs. Llorente, and Kazaiah Sterling up front. Hoof it route 1 to Llorente for a knock down for Sterling to finish.

I now need a shower feel dirty for saying that...:woot:

Morning, @talkSPORT. We're continuing to hear you say plenty about our pitch, but have yet to receive a request for an official comment. Would be great to explain more about the surface as many of your comments are untrue

Rochdale chief executive tearing that twat Jim White a new one live on air. Ha ha
He's such a massive twat isn't he. They've been saying "if Spurs are complaining about it, maybe they should pay for a new pitch", no one from Spurs have said anything about the pitch.

TBF, I'd rather we did. Won't cost all that much to us, and the seethe from everyone else would be fantastic.

Mate, that is what is really annoying. They seem to have contrived a discussion where Spurs have become primadonnas whereas noone from Spurs have commented on the situation. Jim White was really hoping for his usual matey style conversation with the Rochdale chairman and I think that he was totally taken aback. I don't think that it was totally out of order to comment on their pitch but the chairman was right to be a bit offended I think

He can be a bit irritating in the sense that he is so ingratiating to every single caller (I love that call....great call....I love it when West Ham fans call in.....so and so club has great fans). He is pretty harmless though imo.

I don't expect the FA to move this, but with Rochdale having another home game this weekend, and the weather forecast being what it is for the next week, there is a very strong possibility of it simply being postponed next weekend. If the game was to be postponed due to a combination of moderate bad weather and terrible playing surface not once, but twice, I wonder then if the FA would/could intervene.

Essentially I doubt this game will take place at all next weekend and that's when it might get tricky for the FA and they might feel their hand forced.

Wouldn't it make the most sense to move it to Bolton or Burnley? Maybe Huddersfield?
