No need for Winks on the bench. Throw Lucas in the mix. And no Aurier? Pace is severely lacking.

Going to go against popular opinion here but I don't want Sanchez anywhere near the team for this one if Toby is fit.

Why does everyone dislike Sanchez all of a sudden? It was all good just a week ago

Lloris
Trippier Alderweild Vertongen Davies
Dier Dembele
Eriksen Alli Son
Kane

I'd like to see us to rotate out Trippier, Davies, Dier, Dembele and Alli for the match against Juve. With a completely healthy squad and multiple players that deserve selection there is no reason to keep throwing out an identical squad week after week. I'd like to see us play a 3-4-3 against Juve. Like this:

Lloris
Alderweild Sanchez Vertongen
Aurier Wanyama Eriksen Rose
Lucas Kane Son

Big game of course but I think we need to be careful with players coming back from injury. I would hate to see Toby for example injured again because he has done too much to quickly.

Plus, imo, the game against Juventus is more important. We need our best team out for that as we have a very real chanc eof going all the way in this competition. If we put all our eggs into the NLD we would be making a big mistake

Big ask for Toby to play 3 games in 10 days after 3 months out. Starting to think we'll see Sanchez tomorrow because we'll need Toby's experience and composure in Turin.

Saying that, i'd love to be wrong, as good as Sanchez has been for a 21 year old coming into the PL, Toby is a level above and we need our big players for the big games

Think we could see

Lloris
Sanchez Dier Vertonghen
Trippier Dembele Wanyama Davies
Dele Eriksen
Kane

Vorm Aurier Sissoko Toby Moura Son Llorente/Rose

With Son to start in Italy for the counter and possible Rose to be the one to miss out on the squad.

Nice problems to have though. That bench / first 11 is strong and an argument could be made for any of them to be regular starters (well maybe bar Sissoko and Llorente). Doesnt include Winks either.

No way will Poch play a back five like that. He doesn’t park the bus and your line up sets us up to be overrun in midfield in my opinion.

Again, I expect to get criticised for this - but my reason is that I think he looks incredibly clumsy (missing headers, tackles etc), makes a lot of silly errors, and is dreadful on the ball.

I caveat by saying that he is 21, and clearly has some impressive attributes and has put in some decent performances. Happy for him to be involved / gain experience against other teams - just not the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, City etc.

It will be interesting to see if we play a back 4 or 3. I suspect it will be dictated by if Poch thinks they will go to a back 3 or not.

I reckon it will be the same team as Man U and Liverpool.

It's funny how far we've come and they've stood still

Just thinking we just sign lucas moura and he won't start primarily because he hasn't earnt the right to ahead of son or Alli

They sign just sign mkhitaryan and auba and wenger has to throw them straight in.

Those 2 wouldn't get into our starting 11. Micky might not even make the bench.

I hope we show our superior quality this time.

This won’t be the team and it ain’t the game to experiment with the tried and trusted formation but I’d like to see it tried at some point this season.
Dropping some big players there too which gives us good bench options probably be a disaster though
Tomorrow will be similar to our last two games I’d imagine.

From the telegraph

:(

Of all the teams that have played five or more times at Wembley since its rebuild, it is Arsenal, rivals of Tottenham, who are temporarily calling the national stadium home, who have the best record - and it is the best record by a distance, too.

While Spurs have overcome their much-hyped Wembley 'hoodoo', in total they have won just 15 of their 29 matches there. Something about the new Wembley makes Arsenal raise their game, though; Arsene Wenger's men have nine wins from 11 there, giving them a hugely impressive win rate of 81.8%.

Spurs are now unbeaten there in 12, but Arsenal and derby day present a completely new challenge.

It will be a different atmosphere to what they are use to with them only having a 5% allocation
