Lol at the Brit snowboard lass who face planted on the big air.

I love snowboarding, yet I find most snowboarders tedious as fuck.

Yeah BBC coverage is appalling. Without subscribing to eurosport I'm seeing hardly any action these Olympics. I've realised that the beeb simply don't really care about sport.
You should be here suffering the NBC coverage. Idiots talking crap on literally every sport.

Mad sport. I thought Elise Christie must be poor to keep crashing out but realise that unless you front run the only way you can take part in this sport is to be aggressive. There is no room for second guessing or politeness on the track it's seems to be all or nothing

No offence, but with these Olympics, the only thing that would be more insufferable than the self aggrandising of the beeb, would be Americans...

Okay, so i just saw the womens speedskate relay. Korea’s allowed to take out Italy and Canada and not get a penalty while Canada and China were given penalties for god knows what reason. Pretty absurd decision.

That and there not even showing the medal ceremonies. This is the worst coverage of the olympics in quite some time.

Soooo much ski, ski jump and figure skate coverage. Smattering of speedskate. Some hockey and curling. Some luge, skeleton and bobsled(albeit only a max of 4 competitors each). Little to zero short track coverage. Idk if its scheduling either. Even day time is solely all the long ski races. No coverage in the mornings besides for hockey and curling. And NBC now has its own channel dedicated to olumpic and olympic events 24/7. However, this first olympics its been around for has shown zero events and just highlights of what’s already been shown on national cable tv. Horrible coverage.

Yep. Over here when someone comes from behind to win, they have done a Bradbury!

What this videos does not tell was that he was first knocked out in the quarter-finals but 1 skater (who did qualify) got disqualified so Bradley took his place...then in the in the semi-final he was 4th going into the very last turn, with "no" chance to qualify when all the 3 skaters in front of him all falls...and he's all of a sudden in the final!
I think never in the history Olympics have a there been a more lucky winner - and also one of the most undeservedly winners as well.
Yes, one must keep onself on the feet to win but when someone else causes others to fall - and it happens again and again in this sport - there should have been certain rules (like a re-run without the "cultprit") etc.

Luckiest winner.....Yes, without a doubt.
Undeserving winner....Nah mate, you make your own luck in any sport. He understood his limits, and skated accordingly.
And personally i think the rules suck. But thems the rules. The sportsmen deal with them.

The sad thing with Elise Christie is a lot of the British population are going to think of her along the lines of Eddie the Eagle oblivious to the fact that she's a multiple European and World champion with a world record under her belt.

I was expecting someone form Oz to reply ;)
He is not the first one to win in this sport by having 1-2-3 skaters fall; so yes that rule totally suck. In "normal" skating if a skater falls because of another skater the "victim" can decide if he want a re-run. It should be the same in this skating discipline as well.
But, well, as the rules are at present he is a fair winner but that was Bradely making his own luck but, without sounding religious, more like Divine providence :D
