Nop. It's a talking point if you ask me, especially after the disgusting partisanship of Lawro after the Liverpool game.
But it was offside. Like actually offside, not one of those where the interpretation can go both ways. The problem arises when the ref doesn't blow for it but I understand why it's dropped when we comfortably win 2-0 anyway.

As for Jan's goal, about six of ours were offside when the free kick was struck, Jan included. No point showing a clear offside in a comfortable win.

Why does that prevent it being talked about? The offside wasn't given, making it more of a talking point surely?

Oh what a surprise, Shearer doesn't call out Xhaka for diving. Double standards prick.

Now watching motd. Surprise surprise they dont highlight Wiltshires challenge that was a yellow at absolute least. Then did mention the booking against Brighton for a fantastic challenge against Wiltshire which was ridiculous. And then theres the straight red for the sholder barge, also not mentioned. Ref bottled it big time today. Great analysis guys o_O

Have to say Ruud Gullits analysis of how to beat Man Citys trap is bang on imo.
Its so fkin obvious I dont understand it either, why teams still try and play out from the back when boxed in. You'd only have to launch it a few times and they'd drop back, they'd have to. Then you can play it out from the back. Chelsea were lumping it today but never had anyone up the pitch they were so deep. It just kept coming back.
Its almost as dumb as a few seasons back when every bloody team home and away pushed up to the half way line against Leicester Every Fkin Game allowing Vardy the entire half of the pitch to run into. Was like Groundhog day. Like managers never twigged Vardy in a race against cbs is only going to end one way. Who knew?
Dumb.

Its what Palace did. They whacked it long to avoid the high press. That was weeks ago they got that draw and yet nobody has copied it. Its weird, a bit like how everyone played into Leicester's hands the season they won it. Nobody changed tactics against them and it doesn't seem teams have against Man City either.

Im not saying it would work as Man City are a marvellous team, but its worth a try.

Am I the only one who was thinking back to when Gullit was Shearer’s manager at Newcastle and wondering if and when they ever settled their supposed dislike of one another?

sorry but there’s no way you can give that a penalty against Fellaini. If mane had got the ball first yes but they are both going for the ball and foul each other. Baffling
