If we start the way we did in Turin then we are going out. We got out of jail in that game. Make no mistake, it was a superb performance from us but I'd be surprised if Juve are that bad again especially with Dybala and Matuidi back. They underestimated us last time, they won't do so again, and it's perfectly plauisble that they could beat us 1-0 or 2-1.

The Wembley crowd will be in good voice tonight. Let's get in their faces, press them hard, keep possession well, counter properly at pace with Son at first and then Lucas when he comes off the bench. And for god's sake, DO NOT CONCEDE AN EARLY GOAL TOTTENHAM.

A Polish guy I know tells me tonight's ref is quite whistle happy around the box, and is known for it in Poland.
Also made an absolutely stinking penalty decision last weekend. I was surprised. He is brave though. Let's just hope it won't be a case of anti-homeside bravery.

Does anyone know which blocks the away fans are in tonight? Are they east stand still. Trying to work out if I am opposite or next to them. It’s important.

More than likely the same blocks away fans Jane been in all season. Not sure of the block numbers. But around the corner flag at the east end (opp main stand side)

Seeing as today would have been Rik Mayall's birthday and that @Dougal wants to make a Mayall day of it, I think we should use the word "B'stard" as and when appropriate.

Juve are a team full of B'stards. Dybala you B'stard..........FFS Sissoko, control the B'stard ball.........that kind of thing.

After watching their last 4 games, even their last against Lazio with matuidi and dybala back they’ve looked really poor. If they start higuain dybala matuidi none of them are match fit. If we play at PL pace 1st 30 mins honestly think we can put it to bed. If it goes to last 70 mins 0-0 or 1-1 I’d be worried. They are the masters of the smash and grab.

I'd prefer we play a back three today with Vic coming in at DM. Need protection against any potential counter attacks if our plan is to attack and try and nick a goal early doors.

This should also allow Trip to put in more crosses as he'll have a more attacking stance. Ditto Davies.

And yep....still bricking it.

Ya B'stards.

We didn't really get out of jail, we basically kicked the bloody door down to get out. I agree though we need to be at it from the start and make no silly mistakes.

It's tempting to just go Mourinho-style and park the bus against them. After all a 0-0 or 1-1 result would see us through. But 1) Pochettino rarely (...ever?) does that 2) It's very risk as if Juventus gets a good start and scores an early goal we'll have problems

I believe we'll play exactly as the first leg except Trippier instead of Aurier and hopefully minus the mistakes that lead to their goals. Of course Juventus did extremely well to force us to make those mistakes but Higuains first goal was totally down to a dip in concentration in my opinion. There's a reason why those free-kick variants rarely work in top flight football.

Anyway, there's no way around that this is an extremely tough match and will take more than just being "Up for it" and other footballing cliches. Every player in lilywhite have to do a top nodge performance tonight. But we'll have a Wembley full of yids and that will be a massive advantage and this Spurs team have shown time and time again that they deserve to be playing at this level.

These are the matches that are the highlight in a footballers career so I hope the lads go out there and enjoy themselves. I know I will.

Agree.

People say don't fix it if it aint broke but it if you don't adapt for special opposition on the odd occasion then things could break easily. Imo we've looked a little iffy in certain games at the back (the Juve first leg being one) and now Dybala is back for them we can't afford to give them a sniff.

Our weaknesses lie at full back at the moment, and this is a game where we need to be rock solid to stop counter attacks. I think a back three will give us better balance in that regard and it will also hopefully turn our fullback weaknesses into a strength. Trippier is far better further forward for instance.

Dier Sanchez Verts with Dembele and Wanyama in front is a very difficult core to get through imo.

Kane has been saving his load for the old lady of Turin. He's going to score at least once so Juve will have their work cut out!

Can't be understated this is an absolutely massive match for us, felt the same when we played Milan in the return leg in the CL, getting to the CL quarters is massive for us, getting past a team like Juve will give us so much belief and confidence going forward.

Ok, I'm watching BBC breakfast with my wife and it seems tomorrow is International Women's day; what's that I ask and she duly explains it is about women's progress, respect and equality.
Genuinely interested I say I respect you my darling and we've always been equal haven't we, I don't treat you badly do I? No she says I can't complain but it is something that needs highlighting, I of course agreed, she smiled and asked me if fancied cooking the dinner tonight! Sorry hun' I'm going down the Spurs....BAM!! WHAT DID i SAY????

We'd better win now:)

Just remembering one of the best recent CL ties between Bayern and Juventus.

First leg finished 2-2 in Turin and Juventus had Chiellini, Marchisio and Dybala out injured for the second leg. They were 2-0 up within half an hour in Munich and only a late, late Mueller equaliser took it to extra time. Munich scored twice in ET to finally win the tie 6-4 on agg.

Different Juventus players tonight obviously but this team, even with key players out or not 100%, is also quite capable of getting the result they need. It didn't quite work out for them in Munich but it was very close.

An excited nervous for me. Arranged work schedule to ve able to watch. These types of matches are what it is all about. See us playing dele, son and eriksen supporting kane, but with eriksen dropping deeper a food bit to give us more in the middle.
