I expect us to be as strong in the challenges as we were in Turin. Wary of Juve obviously, but if we match the intensity of that first leg, there is a good chance we’ll proceed to the quarters!

The absolute scenes when Sissoko comes on and scores the winner off his backside.

Limbs everywhere.

Anyone else see the video of the players arriving. All shaking hands with the old geezer holding the door open... well all apart from Danny Rose who with hands in his pockets completely blanks.

He’s got to go his attitude stinks

A Champions League knockout game against Juventus, under the lights, at a sold out Wembley.

These are the good times.

Exactly! These are the games that we all craved when we were watching the scum etc playing in the champions league over the years. Now it is their turn to watch us!

We deserve to be here, we belong here. We are on of the best teams in Europe at present without a shadow of a doubt.

There should be no fear for the players at all. If we go through it won't be due to a plucky rearguard effort, it will be down to the sheer quality of our team.

Bring it on

It’s still early, there is sunlight and it’s warmer, but the volume of people outside Wembley is big compared to when Madrid came. Like they’ve learned from the Real debacle with holdups st the ticket office.

Think they might try to surprise us by attacking early and expansively. They did the same in the aforementioned game against Bayern after the 2-2 draw in Turin. All things considered, if we try to go and press hard early and attack as well, the first 20 mins could be a real rollercoaster - I'm thinking the NLD at the Lane a few years back under AVB, both sides playing high lines and trying to attack, all 20 outfield players were in the middle third of the pitch and it was frightening, until Lennon broke the deadlock and the game settled down somewhat

But its true though. The others made the effort, he ignored the man. Shows he feels superior. He really hasn't been the same since the interview
What's true? That he didn't shake hands with some old codger? I suppose Danny Rose has things to answer for, he's made mistakes, said the wrong things and he's fucked up. Have a pop for that if you must but this shaking hands stuff is all bullshit, all you can take from it is that he might have been rude. I'd bet several of my testicles that some of the other players are, from time to time, rude.

Who knows, he might have been told he's not in the side and is sulking

So yeah........Bullshit.

I’m very confused. Sitting next to what I thought were Koreans, but speaking Italian!! I thought the law said they had to be Spurs supporters or they get drafted into the army?

EDIT. Spurs shirt under their jackets. Draft dodging sneaks.

It’s just manners. Listen if it was an isolated incident then ok. But just shows he is a petulant child when he doesn’t get what he wants. Saw a great article today how he picked a war with Poch and lost. Now looks like an idiot.

That man is actually Ben Davies uncle, he's good mates with the team and if you knew the real story you wouldn't be saying stuff like that.

They (Ben, Danny, Harry Winks and Harry Winks little sister) were all going to go to Alton Towers together on Monday but at the last minute Danny couldn't go because his mum was taking him to get his hair cut, they all agreed they would go the next day so it was fine but when he checked Facebook later that day he saw that they went without him, Danny doesnt know anyone else who can drive so he wont get to go to Alton Towers this year and he was really looking forward to going on Oblivion (it was closed last time he went). Ben said it was all his uncles idea and he had to go or his dad would be pissed off, Harry went but his sister didn't want to go after all.

So next time maybe think about what you're saying before you say it, there might be a damn good reason for what is going on.

I wouldn't have shaken his hand the looney. His pants weren't pressed and Danny was calling him out on it.
