They’ve already bought Keita to replace Can. Slightly different players but they won’t be desperate in that position

Keita is nothing like Can. Keita is virtually an AM. Imo he will struggle in a 3 in PL. very exciting to watch but very undisciplined. Think he will end up a lallana type flitting between midfield and front 3. Can is closest they have to a DM. They will definitely need to buy a DM. Pretty sure their biggest net spend under FSG is about £40m. They’ve sold a lot of star players to build a squad sterling Suarez coutinho. Revenue wise they will be behind us after stadium is up and running.

Part of me just wants us to blow our budget & go & get Toni Kroos & Sessegnon.. won't happen but I think if we were willing to pay for Kroos it would be the piece that would win us the lg

Sessegnon.

A pacey left back. (I'd have gone for Roberton in summer and was disappointed when Liverpool got him, even though Klopp stupidly only recently came to the conclusion he's better than Moreno).

A box to box alternative to compete with Dembele (cover for injuries) and also Winks who is finding his way.

Someone who can play up top.

They are legit. He said that.

It's a translation. The quote varies. Seems nothing to me:

https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...s-league-exit-real-madrid-paris-saint-germain

“When we equalised, we needed to bring something else in. We needed to continue to push, to go forward. I do not know what happened, I was surprised and a bit annoyed. The goal at 1-1 changed nothing for us. I felt like we needed to continue to press and play attacking football. Real Madrid were playing slowly, calmly. We moved the ball around but you cannot win by just doing that.”

Arturo Vidal. With Goretzka going to Bayern, Vidal is the established player we need.

Don’t think that’s true for attacking mid. We have 5 experienced high level players but no young player as understudy.

Years ago we benefited from having Klinsmann, Davids, Popescu and Payet. All experienced players whom slotted straight into our starting line up. The problem with craving these sort of players these days is no one will walk straight into our starting XI.

What we’re suffering from this season is basically a lack of consistency from individual players. Last season we had a fantastic finish with the whole team consistently working their bollocks off and delivering. This season we’ve again been unlucky with key injuries but whereas players consistently very good last season, the likes of Dier, Trippier, Aurier, Alli, and even Sanchez to an extent have either been very good or a bit meh... there’s been no middle ground. It’s all fine and well saying in hindsight we would have done better if Toby and Wanyama were fit but we’ll never know. This is where Poch needs to be more proactive, bring a fit again Wanyama in for Dier, give Moura a chance (he’s a fantastic player), be more aggressive (play one holding player and utilise our attacking players against weaker teams).

not being funny, but after watching Franck Kessié and Suso playing against Arsenal, not sure I trust our scouts, let alone the SC ones.

I'm sure over the last couple of windows, these players have been banded about, and god did we swerve wasting more money, they even make Sissoko look good:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

These two players were really, really bad. Luckily I don't think we will go for Suso after buying Lucas.
