Don't bother going now. Atmosphere is why I go to games and Wembley is soulless.
I used to think that, but since we have been in there, for the first time in the new Wembley's history, it has seen cracking atmospheres! Imagine Chelsea in there, urgh, it really will be a mausoleum.

We’re you there when we played Dortmund or Madrid or Everton or Pool or United or Arsenal?

No . But I had the volume turned up really loud :)
I live too far away! But going by people's posts after the games, and what I saw and heard on TV, it appeared to be an amazing atmosphere. Maybe it's relative. For Wembley, it would be considered good.

The sooner we get out of Wembley the better. The amount of Juve fans last night in the home end was ridiculous, they weren't even subtle with who they were supporting, cheering all Juve's goals and getting upset when Spurs scored, including getting lippy when the HOME fans celebrated Son's goal. It's a disgrace, I thought you had to be a member for a certain period of time to get tickets.

Still no excuse for how poor the atmosphere was yesterday. We were playing some great stuff and even when we went 1-0 up it was still pretty lame. Expected it to be absolutely rocking.

I was nervous as hell during the game and i imagine alot of other people were too. It's hard to get up and sing when your sat there biting your nails.

Atmosphere was fine, in fact one of the better nights but agree it did get tense 2nd half ( and I did have a few pints beforehand!)

Yea agree, atmosphere was pretty good.

Help me understand, there was a guy in the row in front of me who stood and started doing the wanker gesture to the Juve fans, we were above them behind the goal. He was shouting abuse when we were 2-1 down.

What is he trying to achieve?

It was ridiculous. Hundreds of them in the home end.

The stewards allowing them in at the turnstiles need sacking. It’s not like they were incognito, and even if they were not wearing colours or scarves etc, then they obviously dressed Italian ( skin tight shell suit bottoms, leather jacket, suede boots etc ) and could be spotted a mile away.

I thought the atmosphere was pretty ordinary last night and even the best atmosphere at Wembley is not even 50% of what it was at times at WHL. Wembley is simply too huge to generate a good atmosphere and the way the bottom tier (35,000) has been designed means nobody can hear anybody else singing so you can never get chants going properly in sync

The new ground will be better than Wembley but lets face it the atmosphere at our shiny new stadium will never ever match the old ground

More prawn sandwiches and a more comfortable environment can never replicate the old ground when it comes to atmosphere

To be fair, it's probably just making him feel better. I mean I shouted abuse at the ref, he couldn't hear but it helps.

The area they were all in is pretty much a corporate area? They all fuck off at HT for a prawn sandwich. Anyone can get a ticket in there as long as you can afford it

Correct me If I'm wrong....

It's the old beer bravado, he's trying to impress his mates.
That's it in a nutshell.

Would he do that if he was walking down the street sober, on his own, and walked past a group of Juve fans?
I think we know the answer.
