Love the 'next month' vagueness.

Could start training in 18 days. Which would be good.

But then again, he could start training in 48 days. Which wouldn't be good.

Don't thank me too much for the wonderful insight.

Wasn't his last injury right before an international break?
Think the time before may have been as well.
Oh well if you're gonna be out for 4 or 5 weeks getting 2 wks out the way when we're not playing is a good time to do it lol.

Need to wrap Son in cotton wool, no chance in hell we should be letting him go on international duty. Even the South Korea manager was whinging about him getting burnt out, a nice two week break for him after Swansea.

I'm just thankful it's not too bad and he won't be out for several months.

Yeah, small victory I guess, but a kick in the buts

Injuries are part and parcel, though we've had a few key ones this year - Toby, Victor, Danny and now Harry

What I'm definitely thankful for is the quality of our squad and the depth

How do we wrap him in cotton wool without not playing him?

Meant by withdrawing him from the upcoming two friendlies South Korea have next week. We'll be okay, if he picked up a knock whilst away we're in serious trouble and need to remove that possibility.

"Returning to training next month" is pretty vague. Anything between 2 and 6 weeks then. At least there's an international week in there.

Hopefully he'll only miss 3 matches and he'll be back for City.

You know there is no chance of us withdrawing him unless he picks up an injury against Swansea.

So the fixtures he could potentially miss would be:

Swansea away (FA Cup)
Chelsea away 1st April
Stoke
away 7th April
Man City
home 14th April
Brighton
away / FA Cup semi final 20/21 April

You would think that would be worst case scenario as we don't know when in April he's scheduled to return.

Son gets injured and we're fucked.

Fernando was a ludicrous acquisition.

How about a front four of:

------Eriksen
Lucas----- Lamela
---------Alli

I think it would work.

(PS, I really don't want to have to test and find out if i'm right)
