I'm pretty sure there's going to be swooped cladding on the west stand that follows the curves of the atrium glass etc. Should look pretty sick when it's done. I don't think it'll look like an office at all.
There’s gonna be cladding across the top half. But not the protruding entrance as far as I’m aware.
Anyone else think that parking cars on the pitch could be a bad idea?
Still think replacing smashed glass on that front entrance will be a never ending job. Honestly find it hugely surprising they went with a glass frontage at road level for a football stadium. Not sure if it’s brave or stupid. Would be awful if we are having to constantly replace smashed segments.
It’ll most certainly be bullet proofThe glass will be super toughened glass mate, You get shops with glass fronts in a busy high street that are right next to the road. Im sure the architects / designers have considered this.
Bit like graffiti though. On football stadiums it doesnt happen as often as you'd think it would. Plus anyone caught doing it would be harshly dealt with by any locals if caught and the local police would probably be hard on them as those up on high will not want their world renowned jewel in the crown ruined by some knuckle dragging twat.Still think replacing smashed glass on that front entrance will be a never ending job. Some sort of cladding being applied on camera 5, or was until a moment ago. Now the lads are standing about getting a sun tan.
Is there any ethical reason why the workers couldn't wear shock collars, which could be linked to a button on the site? If we see 'em slackin' we give 'em a shockin'!
As someone else has said - an inverted Nike tick. Can't help but see that ever since. My least favourite part of the whole build. There’s not much they could do being that close to the high street but it’s just ‘meh’.
By that logic every shop in London would be robbed daily
It’s clearly a different logic. Shops aren’t hated. There’s no reason for a drunken idiot to throw a brick at a shop. But a group of mindless Arsenal West Ham drunk 2 Am on a Saturday morning that happen to be passing. Especially when it’s new and shiny. Bit like all the trouble at London stadium first few weeks. Just some people’s mindset when someone you hate has something new and shiny.
I wish you hadn’t said that...As someone else has said - an inverted Nike tick. Can't help but see that ever since.
I wish you hadn’t said that...
But people want to steal stuff from inside shops like money and goods. Surely that is more of an incentive than 'hating' something.

Sorry about that....As someone else has said - an inverted Nike tick. Can't help but see that ever since.
