So far the "fantastic home support" have exclusively sung chants about the away players.

As flat as 30AA tits.

We did drag them about and get in some promising positions sporadically (usually for Aurier to absolutely barbecue), and in the last 5-10 mins this was increasing, but unless the front four (particularly Kane and Son) wake up a bit and master basics such as controlling the ball might be an equally painful second half.

If an attacking substitution does need to be made in the second half, I'd bring on Lucas rather than Lamela. We're clearly a level or two better than Stoke and so it's not the extra defensive contribution and workrate of Lamela that we'll need (as Stoke aren't threatening us anyway), more a bit of attacking spark that Lucas can provide.

Is it a half to forget? Missed it due to a fuck slow bus.

Now waiting for the second half on TV being so pissed.

Will two unclear goals still be ok?

Lots of below Par performances up front, 70% possession and 1 chance says it all
And to add to that Stoke haven't even defended well, they made at least half a dozen mistakes at the back and look good for the taking if we can show some quality in the final 3rd.

This is pretty much a reversion to the Pullis era Stoke, bus parked, foot left in with every challenge, crowd behaving like feeding time baboons on PCP.

Gonna be a grind. With Kane back I'd have preferred Lamela to keep his spot over Son I think.

Our front 4 haven't been great but Stoke are having to do a lot of work with their press and defensive tracking.

I expect them to loose half a yard soon enough and open up

They've already started opening up. The moment where Son was offside there was acres. Sloppy from Son to be offside there too

Danny Rose pace has totally disappeared, been back long enough now can’t blame being rusty. Sanchez been best player on pitch.

Keep your knickers on when I say this, chaps, but I am soooo disappointed with Aurier thus far. He is going to have to undergo a radical transformation. Maybe a sex change or something.
