Actually miss 16/17 Wanyama, hasn't been the same since that knee injury

There are players on the field not playing for their place in the FA Cup, World Cup or their place next season. I don’t get why? These games should be a walk in the park. Every game everyone demands Lucas, Toby, etc. Not seeing the immediate improvement.

I'd bring on Dembele for Sissoko to disrupt them a bit. Eriksen is getting no space to work in. A few Dembele runs would pull them out of their shape.

Poch will get into them at HT and hopefully that will do the trick. Brighton have been playing well so it was not gonna be easy given were essentially playing our 2nd string. Saying that, i did think wed be winning by now. I'm sure Moura will put us one up within the first 10 mins of the 2nd half and order will be restored on SC.

Ok, I just want to make sure I am hearing people right. Yes, he is off form and it may be holding our forward play back a bit.
I’d have to be a special kind of idiot to not recognise what Kane has done this and and previous seasons. That doesn’t however make him infallible and immune to criticism

Need to win this - if we don't Chelsea could be 2 points behind by the next time we play in the league.

I wouldn’t know the in and outs of what goes on but you would have to be pretty naive to think our 11 every week are always 100% fit
Yeah I get that...it's not really the same thing though.
I'm not buying the carrying injury thing, tbh he just looks rusty to me, I can see why he's playing Harry though, last chance to get him firing before the semi.

Need the CMs to play like Dier and Dembele. They need to bring the ball forward and draw people to them to create space.

This is when Dembele getting double teamed benefits us cos he releases into space

Sissoko off for Dembele. Even if we don't, we should drop Eriksen a little deeper, pass the ball about the midfield more, try to suck Brighton out and hit Son or Moura in less congested spaces.

This is just a typical example of how moribund pace is when the game is condensed. Aurier and Moura have been pretty redundant, in terms of using their pace. And why we don't need any more pacey dribblers, but some more craft and brains and someone who does something intelligent instead of bumbling about, being greedy, trying to run through 7 players, instead of play the pass.

We're both thinking along similar lines, but saying it differently. Wanyama actually moves forwards much better than Dier who can't move with the ball at his feet at all. But I'd have Dembele on.

Lamela could be an option to unpick the lock but leaving Dele off the bench was a mistake. Sissoko has to come off.
