Steve Chettle ... My goodness.
He's worked out how to win at Chelsea, beat top teams, including Real Madrid.
Based on where we were, we have been successful.
Yes - we are successful.
Top notch and revenue generating training centre, probably one of the best stadiums and again revenue generating with multi murpose. Turnover in top 10 in world football.
Winning the FA cup or league cup don’t change that.

So does money, what's your point? The whole point of building training centres, stadiums and building the income streams is so that you win trophies.
What player is going to play out a career at Tottenham, win FA, but said it doesn’t matter I had a lovely pitch totrain and play on?
A club’s success is measured in silverware.
Us in the 60s, Liverpool in the 80s, Utd 90s, City this season. Trophies, not a mention of profitability in sight.
Winning trophies changes everything.
We worked out how to beat ManU and have done the same for Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea. I have loved the progress made by the club. Yes, it hurts, and we've had a number of hurts this season, but Pochettino has brought me great joy watching this team grow. I think if we make it to the top four then it would have been a pretty good season, especially as it is at Wembley.I agree but it counts for little if there's nothing to show for it...Real Madrid are still in CPL and we are out....WBA worked out how to beat Man Utd last week. but they are still probably getting relegated.....
I just think he has took the team to where he can and winning a major trophy is perhaps a bridge too far for him....I want to see this club actually win something again before I depart this earth....I'm tired of 'projects' and 'potential'....sorry to sound negative but today absolutely gutted me.

Was it?I thought it was pretty obvious.
Winning trophies is the whole point of playing football.
Winning .
Money and facilities don’t go down in any record books. An FA cup win in 91 does.
8 semi defeats is an appalling record since.
For the fans and the players this season was about winning a trophy.
Was it?
Money affects/effects all things football related. City didn't just win the league because ... Did they?

So money doesn't play a part in it when it suits your argument? So why did Wigan beat City?
It’s not everything! It makes it easier sure but our team right now, is plenty we’ll paid and financed to win a trophy!
Losing 8 semi finals in a row is not just down to money spent.
11v11 at 5:15 today had nothing to do with money. It was tactics, ability to perform and who wanted it more.
I am fed up to the back teeth with this sort of gormless comment. What right do we have to have won a trophy by now? There's a complete lack of logic and yes you can just write what you like, but to paraphrase Harrison Ford, you don't have to read this crap. Not when it really mattered today.
We should have won a trophy by now, with this manager and these players.
4th was surely only half the target this season.
Try reading this:Not when it really mattered today.

They won the league and league cup ... I'm being told money doesn't matter, but only when it doesn't fit the narritive being made. They didn’t win th FA Cup though. They actually lost to Wigan.
We lost as soon as things heated up, against a team we brushed aside only a few weeks ago.
Did you ACTUALLY think they would be brushed aside today? FFS!They didn’t win th FA Cup though. They actually lost to Wigan.

It's cool.
