We are extremely lucky to be playing teams who have absolutey nothing to play for or we would be in serious trouble. We’ve been truly awful since we beat Chelsea. We just cannot seem to get going since. Why?
Anyway nearly there, qualifying for the Champions League this season is still a great achievement.

We are still in with a good chance of getting third. If Liverpool get through this week their emphasis is going to be on the CL final

If I didn't watch the game and looking at the comments I would have thought we had another stinker.

Luckily I watched.

Against team like Watford who had nothings to play for, they could give everything to get something out of the game. How beautiful are we expected to play against such team seriously..

Even though we won and that’s the most important I’m still frustrated. After disappointing results lately I was expecting the team to be aggressive this game and show desire. But we was the opposite, no energy and no desire. And Poch didn’t help with his negative substitutions. Luca should’ve come on instead of Wanyama, Lamela instead of Sissoko. We invited pressure and if we’re being honest we’re lucky Watford didn’t score today, Lloris was brilliant. The atmosphere was shit too, I hate Wembley.
We need new fast fullbacks (I know that Trippier played well today)
We desperately need a CM who is a good passer
Sissoko has to be sold in the summer

Positives today:
Lloris saved us many times
Jan was fantastic p, unlucky not to score
Trippier good in the first 60-65 minutes but got passed almost all the time after that
Alli scored again and was good, he was creative today
Eriksen on double figures on both goals and assist
Kane scored but he didn’t look good again today

Already explained my reasoning.

Will make a prediction - he's got one big mistake in him that will cost us...and it won't be entirely his fault, it will be because our game is unstable out there today and it will affect him in the second half.

Will delight in being wrong; desperate to be.

Toby is a stabilising force.

That's at the core of my thinking.

Cheers, Mystic Meg.

Some of you fuckers crack me up. You watch 70 minutes of turgid wank, Wanyama comes on and your like "we've been shit since Wanyama came on".

I know where you’re coming from, but if we play like that and win all our remaining games, it’s job done still...

I know but if we continue to play like that I'll be shocked if we win all of our games :D Just have to hope we can raise our game in this last period.

Was asked if Poch should be judged on trophies and Neville emphasised how we're already outperforming expectations based on net spend. Also mentioned how great managers maximise the potential of the players and gave many examples of that (Walker, Rose, Eriksen, Kane etc). There's plenty more but I can't remember it all, got it recorded so can post it later if anyone's interested to see it
Yea please pal. Tag me.

Gary Neville, Chelsea really aren’t breathing down our necks.

They’ll chat anything to try and convince people it’s closer than it is.

You think we'll lose 2 of the last 3 games? Two of which are home games? We've been shit recently but we've still only lost twice at home in the league and only once away against a non top-6 team (Leicester). I can't see us crumbling that badly.
Watford should have put two past us. We haven't played well since Stamford Bridge.

If we approach it with the 4-2-3-1 and hope that we saw today they will turn us over.

Pretty fortunate win . Harry obviously knew it. Hopefully will make them realise they need to play a lot better to win the remaining games. I would have been very worried if Watford had scored at any point today, even as we moved into 6 mins stoppage time as I think we would have gone into panic mode.

None of the other teams have anything to play for. Leicester and Newcastle are in shit form and West Brom, albeit resurgent, are West Brom.

Even if we're awful we should get more than 1 pt. I'd be surprised if we didn't win at least one.

Give those chances to N'Castle, Leicester or WBA even & they will score, need to sort it out before the w/e.

That's nothing to do with luck, we had our tough period in February and came through it so we've earned these games.

For all you moaners that really wasn’t that bad a performance. We controlled the game especially in the first half except for a few sloppy passes from Dembele and Dier.
Trippier yet again got targeted by the opposition and had another up and down game, got forward pretty well and got his assist but also got beaten about 3/4x by his winger and that header towards the end my goodness?, basic defending high and WIDE, away from the goal not straight back to their player in the area!

Anyway at 2-0 they threw on more attackers and we soaked up a bit more pressure but we could’ve and should’ve also scored mabye 2 more. Completely normal game, mabye a little under par but mostly controlled the game and got the job done but yet again our weaknesses or areas for improvement should I say were clear for all to see.

Also poch bringing on lamela out of loyalty to him fair enough but that dribble he did where he just needed to use his right foot sums him up, pretty sure Lucas would’ve buried that,as he would’ve sissokos shot over the bar, it’s just not good enough for where we need/want to be.

Anyway good 3 Points and fairly happy with the performance but hopefully poch can see these areas it’s clear we need to improve in.
