I think some of our boys are trying to just not get injured before the WC. Hope super Jan is ok.
Wank wank wank 0 all round.
We ‘dominated’ but from 65/70 Mins we should be testing their tired legs a lot more, some poor touches today and as me and others have said for quite a while now when teams sit back like that and we don’t get an early goal, and are not quite clicking, we rely so heavily on Eriksenand we become very predictable. Alli again offered very little, Lamela even less. Kane looks tired. Son is off form. We have our flip flops on people.

They always looked dangerous from set pieces that was the only way they were going to score. Shit wank from them and I hope they still go down as we always struggle against them.

Seriously though the performance was ok... mabye 5’s and 6’s for most but some of our attacking players need to do more, I know we try and dominate possession but they need to do a bit more with their movement, turn and run and defenders a bit and get behind them, Alli, and Lamela in particular didn’t do that enough. That’s not Eriksens game but he produces and creates something pretty much every game but we can’t have 3 attacking players not offering enough.

Also Poch’s subs again confuse me, why bring on Llorente? The formation etc was working fine and we were turning them out, in heindsight putting Dier on for Jan would’ve been better.

Look they’ve got results against Man.U and Liverpool recently and they had to win to stay up so that was never going to be easy if we didn’t get an early goal but we don’t help ourselves.

I think I want lpool to beat Chelsea now so 4th is more secure, forget 3rd after that let’s just make sure we don’t fucking slip to 5th.

Luckily Leicester and Newcastle have their flip flops on also it seems so should at least beat one of them .
We do too, though. We've been at the beach for longer than they have

Motm Kane. Almost added to his goal tally with a wonderful volley if not for a world class save from Lloris.

Apparently I thought Rose was much worse than everyone else here. He'd be at or near the bottom of my list.

Incredible lack of urgency out there. Maybe a couple of 7/10 performances, but mostly 5s or even worse.

Lucas looked good. Wonder how things would've panned out if he was subbed in at the 60 min mark and was allowed to play through the middle.

Kane rushing back has derailed our final run in. The dude looks like he’s playing with concrete boots. We looked so much better that spell with Son up front, we’re effectively 10 men every game with a crocked Kane persevering in his pointless chase for golden boot.

Worst game I’ve seen Lamela have for us. Poch seems allergic to winning at times. Five at the back against relegation fodder that need to win? Played directly into Darren Moore’s bacon-grease covered hands.

Sell the team and pivot THFC into an American football franchise imo.

This was a strategic victory that has strengthened MP's hand this summer.
Coast in second and Levy would have laughed him out the office if he requested big spending.

On the back off this display and general pisstaking, I'd like to see Rose, Alderwiereld, Wanyama, Llorente and Lamela sent on their merry way and some decent replacements brought in.

Rose Motm, just about. Thanks for the memories.

Lloris 6 - The Kane save. You never feel safe with him on corners.

Rose 7 - Dynamic with poor crossing. Daft hand in face v Nyom.

Vertonghen 7 - Some unnecessary fouls in our half. A threat pushing forward.

Sanchez 5 - Ropey at times. Pace usually shut down WBA breaks.

Alderweireld 8 - Laser guided diagonals to Rose. Looked commanding. Wanyama passes caused him trouble.

Trippier 6 - Largely nullified by WBA defence. Great pass to Kane for 1st half chance.

Eriksen 6 - Dead balls a duffer. Buzzed around to some extent

Wanyama 5 - Some duff passing to Toby. Always involved but often lacking crispness.

Lamela 4 - Muffed a great chance. Effort without results

Alli 6 - Always busy. Don't take him off over Lamela as he has GOALS IN HIS LOCKER

Kane 5 - H at 70% at best. Poch needs to take charge as we're seeing the loaned out Kane.

Poch 5 - Some duff subbing. Moura's running causing 2 WBA cards in 5 mins showing where the solution was.

I think messrs Kane, Ali, Trippier et al need to concentrate more on their football over playing poxy Fortnight all the bloody time

At first I thought this must be a joke because obviously no one would be as stupid to think that a relatively harmless way for professional footballers to relax actually effects their performance.

But then you spelt one of the easiest names in the league wrong so all bets are off on your stupidity level...

Where’s the ‘None deserved’ option?
Everyone of those players should hold their heads in shame. Simply not good enough.

Lol a defender gets motm when we defended about 2% of the game and still managed to concede, tells you all you need to know really...

5 for Lloris, Sanchez and Toby. Did a very average job against poor opposition. Still couldn't keep a clean sheet though.

Everyone else except Moura: 0.

Ericksen is £100m? He can't clear a wall on a free kick or beat the first man on a corner.

Kane can't run. He's clearly not fit or not recovered. Pretending he is, is going to cost us valuable points.

Everyone else seemed unable to put a ball in the box or shoot. They seemed petrified and passed the ball around themselves outside the West Brom box like a hot potato.

Lamela offered nothing and still the mystery how he keeps Moura off the pitch persists.

Son was subbed on and never seen again.

Wanyama didn't have any direction to his game. A DM does more than cover defence, he's the start point for most attacking plays and dictates the direction of play.

Trippier is one of the best crossers in the Prem but didn't put one cross in.

Rose? LOL.

Moura came on and looked bright but there is a limit on what 1 man can do on his own in 12 mins. He still managed at least 2 promising runs which is more than everyone else put together. He must be even more perplexed what he has to do to start a game. He MUST start against Newcastle, no question.

You do realise Moura has started matches and not pulled up any trees? Not saying he won’t be good in the long run but he hasn’t taken his chances so far

Wanyama was an absolute monster for us last year. This season he has been injured and clearly is still not 100%.

The only games he has started in were the FA cup against League 1 teams and a second-string Spurs team behind him. Every match he has looked bright. He's even scored.

Guess you missed the match against Brighton where was hauled off in the second half for an ineffectual performance in a limp 1-1 draw?

I'll give it to Moura for adding some impetus and urgency.

Standouts (for wrong reasons)

Kane continues to look a shadow of himself (hell today he looked a shadow of Gary Doherty)
Lamela was bad start to finish. couldn't control the ball, slipped up and passed poorly

Rose huffed puffed and did his obligatory getting involved in a spat and hated by the oppo fans.

Alli, Slow Slow, quick quick. slow (minus the quick)

This game had me crying out for Sissoko (it was that bad)

Somehow need to muster a performance to get a win from the last two games.
