He has his foibles but Poch is the best thing to happen to Spurs in decades. I really hope some of that sponsorship, Wembley, season ticket, kit deal, NFL etc money finds its way to helping him keep building this team up.

Poch, seems a bit pissed off with the fans tonight. Mentioned the difficult atmosphere too. Hopefully nothing serious and just drawing a line under it ahead of next season. I hope he realises that there are a lot of grateful fans out there!

Absolutely love the guy. He, like all of us at Spurs (board, coaches, players and fans) still have room to grow and improve, but he is the man to lead us 100%.

New contract is key. Give him what he deserves, then have a real go in the transfer market!

First half we were atrocious, and he knew it, so he has to roll with that. But they responded, and so did we, proper belting out the songs. I'm sure he gets it.

Yeah they definitely need to give something to get it going, especially in this size of stadium. They've had wembley rocking when they've played well. As you said he should know that.

If we can come 3rd it’s only the 2nd time in our entire history we’ve come top 3 in 3 consecutive seasons. Last time was Bill Nic 60-63. Quite an achievement for Poch.

Perhaps he's talking about the tense nervous atmosphere rather than anything sinister.

To be honest, he’s starting to piss me off a bit with the constant downplaying expectations since the semifinal defeat. He’s a slither away from Redknapp’s “you’ve never had it so good” line.

Love the guy, but this is BS.

Kinda agree, but I can also understand when you perform very well and become a bit of a victim of your own success.

I think he went a bit too heavy about it, hopefully it was just the pressure speaking, he must have known it was getting a bit desperate.

He definitely needs to tone it down a bit, pushing for realism too often can trickle down. Yes were are outmatched in resources but team is very competitive.

I think it was another subtle dig at Levy to say 'hey look what we've achieved again.. Next year we may not be so lucky. Spend.'

And if Levy trusts in him then he'll pump in as much money as Poch needs. But I don't think Levy will spend as much as Poch would like. It will be a very long summer and I think anything can happen during that time.. Including a change of manager and change of important players.

I'm not confident that we will have the same set of staff and players at the club come the beginning of September.
I'm just overwhelmed that we've managed to secure CL football in our new stadium with the possibility of investment as a result!! That to me was more important than anything else as it's the spring board for better players and staff to arrive due to money and advertisement of our club being in the CL again.

I was pretty nervous going into tonight and was convinced we were going to Spurs this right up. I also Have to say, at half time today was the first time I’ve ever questioned whether Poch has perhaps taken us as far as he can - the performance was that shite, turgid and lacking any kind of urgency - it honestly felt like something had changed.

However, having calmed down and having won tonight, he is the best thing that’s happened to our club in donkeys years and what he’s achieved is quite remarkable. I hope he’s given what he wants in the summer, he deserves a proper shot at it.

Had the most jittery night I have ever seen of him. Hope he had a good rest and come back stronger and wiser for us in the new season.

Poch is going nowhere and his relationship with Levy is fine...imo. I don't believe the recent digs are really for him.
,
All the worrying remarks he's been saying lately i believe are directed at the media and some of our fickle fans, he seems to be upset after the semi-final defeat with all the media whores on his back about not winning trophies, a few of our so called fans are included in pissing him off that's probably why he keeps going on about our history , expectations and targets, he certainly looks pissed off.
But Poch will be with us next season, i think he's realised that loyalty and appreciation are two words that are hard to find in the football world and some of our fans should be careful what they wish for.,Sunday should be a day when we show Poch some real love.

SSN just showed a weird bit of his after match press conference inferring he wasn’t committing to being with us next season. Probably just them shit stirring as it wasn’t possible to hear the question.

I think its directed at the ****s who think its acceptable to boo a Spurs player during an extremely important match.
Pathetic really.

Haven't seen that but I do have a feeling he won't be with us next season. The vibe over the past month. Maybe the players know he's off too which has impacted on the pitch. Probably not. However, he has successfully fulfilled the brief of his original contract: to deliver regular champions league football moving in to the new stadium. I am very likely completely wrong and hopefully he is at the helm for the next chapter of the club. COYS.

He was meant to be meeting the board this week wasn’t he?

Maybe he’s just showing how important he is before that in order to get what he wants.
