True, but they could get us 30 goals, each, in a season, by being greedy. I could live with that.

They won't both get a high number of goals without the creativity increasing behind them. At the moment Kane is scoring so many because he is the focal point and nearly everything ends up with him. Bringing in Bale might up the goals scored a bit but imo we would increase our goals scored rate far more with another player(besides Eriksen) that could find the very good movement of the AM's we already have.

Yep this is why we need imo to switch to 4-3-3 with an additional creative midfielder and Eriksen in the 3. Look at Madrid with Caisemero then Kroos and Modric infront. Then you have City with Fernandinho who's no slouch as a passer and then Silva and KDB. My only concern is where would Dele fit in all this.

We're not getting bale back. He is on 300k a week according to some sites. How can we pay him even 200k without everyone else kicking up a fuss.

A backup for Eriksen, or a CM who can carry that load and do a Dembele(light) job has been big on my wishlist for a while. May be under the radar but I feel like itk in this area seems light, and almost not much of a priority despite Dembele almost certainly leaving and us only having Sissoko, a broken Wanyama, Dier, and what remains of Winks (and maybe the ghost of Onomah's potential) to fill that critical spot.

Bingo, Bale is just an absolute monster on the attack. To be able to bring the most out of him another creative midfielder to the lineup would be required. I mean his first goal Saturday was just text book to what he can bring and what a fantastic midfielder can create for him. Bale makes the run from wide, Modric spots in and plays the perfect ball to put him in.

He played as a box-to-box CM at MK Dons did he not? And he's played there a few times for us as well, notably in the first Liveprool game and he was excellent there. So if you were going to do a 4-3-3 like you suggested then I suppose you would have something like:

Trip-------Sanchez---------Verts------Davies
---------------------Wanyama-----------------
-------------Eriksen-------------Alli-----------
Moura-------------------------------------Son
------------------------Kane-------------------

He has to be worth 200k.
I’d simply say, this guy has won 3 champions league medals. He’s worth every penny! His signing and wage bill will better facilitate you winning trophies too.
Or if I was feeling grumpy when that knock sounded on my door - When you’ve achieved the same we’ll pay you 200k ?

I and a few others have been begging for this for a while. We don’t have the right ex-manager of a Catalan side for that sadly, much as I love Señor MoPo.

I'm not sure what kind of formation you envision here. Kane, Bale and two Eriksens doesn't leave much space. In any case, Bale could bag his 30 just from free kicks and 40-yarders, which would help against the bus parkers.

Really want Bale back, yeah.
For 433, I think we lacked the squad for it last season. Now, I think we again have the right players to make it work.

Another Eriksen can play in the Dembele place. There are players of his stature and his play style who do it very successfully, we just have to trust that Poch can figure it out that we don't need to overly defensive players in the midfield pivot. Bale, Eriksen, Dele behind Kane, and Dier/Wanyama next to pass first CM.

If we sign Bale, Martial and Sess then it will be fun trying to pick the line up next year, assume it will also be curtains for Lamela.

As others have said, Eriksen alongside Dier or Wanyama makes a lot of sense in 80% of games we play, maybe not against the other top 4 sides but should work elsewhere:

Wanyama - Eriksen
Martial - Dele - Bale
Kane
Pretty decent!

I'm not wanting anything of the sort. I don't think we need Bale or any other AM's for that matter, as I think the movement we have in the final third is already very good. At the moment the only player we have that can find the quickly and consistently is Eriksen. That is what needs to change imo. The only way Bale can come in is if one of our AM's leaves as we are already well stocked there, and I just don't see that happening.

I agree it’s unlikely.

But if the ITK is to be believed players will be recieving improved contracts.

The highest earner will probably still be far off 300k. The only way to bridge the gap would be a huge signing on fee plus bonuses.
