Which are exactly the same as the shots of all the other Nike kits, which have been released and proven to be exactly correct.

So while I haven’t touched it. It’s fair to say I know what it looks like

Yep.

They are both the absolute tits.

They're gonna look great.

Am going to buy a home shirt this season.

Because why would they put it in Navy, on the away kits white stands out better than red thats why they do it. On the home kits because they are white, essentially the neutral colour they can put their logo in their preferred colour.

AIA are not here to make our kits look better, They can put it in red so they do. I actually don't mind the AIA being in red, at least the type font is pretty classy unlike a lot sponsorships we've had in the past.
Brand guidelines.

All logos are created with a bunch of guidelines on how the logo has to be used, fom colours to the clearence/space around it.

White logos aside, brands will stipulate that it has to be used in its primary colour when used against white or certain other light colours (light grey for example). When used on secondary/darker colours, logos are normall inversed or used in another of the brands colours.

Legibility of red on navy will be poor, so in that instance it’s used in white, but that freedom is not extended to their logo being allowed to appear in any colour outside of the brand palette.

Exactly, I don't know why this has to be explained to some people year after year after year :banghead:

All we know of the third kit is the colors involved. And they look like the same colors used on the 13/14 away kit which was very nice. We have not seen anything else on the third shirt.

There was this potential leak.

I love all 3 personally, particularly the 3rd.

As with every year, you can't please all of the people all of the time. Some will love them (like me) and some won't.

One thing for sure, there's no way the club will push back on Nike to re-do the 3rd shirt as someone suggested.

Most interested in the training wear now.

White shorts debate aside, I actually don’t mind home or away shirt.

People moan that Nike use templates and you don’t get anything unique with them, and then when they do something that doesn’t appear on other teams kits, people moan...

Took a bit of getting used too, but the grad doesn’t look anywhere near as harsh on the more official looking shots and with Navy shorts will look smart IMO.

Hopefully Navy socks too.

Playing Devil's advocate here; you can create a unique shirt without adding a divisive gradient.

What kind of saddo really gives two fucks about the 3rd shirt anyway? We wear it, at most, a couple of times a season.

Last season we didn't strictly have a 3rd shirt. It was Navy away domestically and the purple one in Europe wasn't it?

Of course... and if it was a different collar, you could say that you can create a unique shirt without changing the collar. And if it was the sleeves you could say that you can create a unique shirt without doing X to the sleeves or the pattern etc etc.

Ultimately you have to do something if you want it unique and you can’t please all the people, all of the time.

You have simplicity brigade of which I’m part of and you have those that want some kind of embeleshment.

It’s a dame sight nicer than the UA seatbelt kit IMO.
