Not worried.

It would be a huge risk for Poch to take the job and he could end up undoing a lot of the great things he's done so far.

Imagine if he went to Madrid and it didn't work out? Fired in an instant.

They'd even sack him if he was unable to recreate the successes of Zidane, which is very likely considering all things. Madrid fans will demand the league at the very least - you know what they are like.

Would Poch want to run the risk of being fired by Madrid before he's finished the job with us or won any trophies. It could have seriously damaging consequences for him. And I think he's smart enough to know that.

It would be much much better for Poch to walk into that job having won a league title or CL title previously as he will always have that on his resume, therefore if it didn't work out for him there he'd have numerous clubs queuing up for him. Whereas if he was to fail other big clubs may think he's very good coach but not a 'winner'.

Not saying he isn't just can see the huge risk he would expose himself to.

Real Madrid to launch all-out onslaught to hire Mauricio Pochettino from Tottenham Hotspur this summer

The Independent understands the Argentinian would be allowed to leave for Madrid owning to an informal agreement with Daniel Levy – providing the price is right

What a load of shit. That’s completely made up. How would they know there’s such an agreement. It’s a figure of their imagination.

I hear you loud & clear, and I know that a contract can be bought at any time. I also don't disregard the possibility that this 'informal agreement' could well have been made.

However, such an agreement would be with the thought that such an occasion would pop up in perhaps 1, 2 or 3 years down the line, not a bloody week or two after signing the contract.
No way in a million years would Levy put anything in an agreement that would in anyway be to the potential detriment of the club. I am not ITK and I guarantee you that there is no informal agreement.

The spanish media is pretty quiet on it, its the Marca that doing it. Namely Madrid's mouthpiece. It indicates they do want him.

Also Paella is really a Valencian delicacy and is not something typical of Madrid or Spain. I think Spanish Omelette fuckers, or Tortilla de Patatas fuckers, would be a much more authentic and cultural conscious insult.

Well according to article they claim a Poch source said there is a informal agreement. Jack is a very good journalist who has broken lot of good exclusives... so I wouldn’t poo poo it yet. It may come down to how much bad Madrid want him to deal with Levy.

Would love some transfer ITK right about now so we can talk about something else.

This is what’s worrying me, the silence is deafening. If Poch is true to his word I am sure he will stay with no real issue, my problem is this is Real we are talking about, he is Espanyol through and through and would relish the chance to put Barca back down the league. But then again Madrid is going to be a complete rebuild in the next 2-3 years which won’t be easy... to conclude I have no idea what to think. We need something from Poch or the club.

Ok, Benitez to Real Madrid, Pochettino to Tottenham and Conte to Chelsea after 5 minutes of looking.

Anyway its irrelevent, you cant keep a manager against his will. Its not like a player. If Poch wants to go, he will go its really that simple.
Looking at what? You don't think there was any cost involved with Pochettino ending his contract with Southampton? :wideyed: Got it.

Just as a fun little 'scenario game'...

Would you allow Poch to go to Madrid if it meant Bale coming back to us?

I am fully aware this is anything but a fun scenario to discuss
