With regarding this Zaha revelation of a deal???

Palace in not a very good position financially. Don’t want to elaborate further. Only thing I will say, you don’t want them ending up a Villa. Funny thing is Parish been courting us for a year especially. But says different to the media. They have never closed the door. Even Citeh bulked at their crazy valuation on Zaha.

On a side note, Citeh refusing to pay over and above 70m for Mahrez.[/QUOTE they wouldn't pay 70 in january hardly likely to pay it

Yea with them refusing to pay 70 in january they will hardly pay it now.. somewhere either side of 50 with add ons(cl win) & I'd quess deal would happen..
As for Zaha given he was nobbing Moyes daughter while at biggest club in world..then f&ckem..leave him looking like a superstar that never was imo..

Aside from Citeh & PSG. I am informed that PSG are hamstrung, and cannot compete due to that, until they unload. Europe do not have the money of EPL. Guess what? Daniel knows that
Thanks, Herc, for the update. Was just about to bed in for the night. That’s changed. Seriously more strung out on SC transfer shit than The Roling Stones in the early 70s

Maybe - not sure how Gazzaniga will get a game, and it'd be a waste to keep him like some sort of furniture piece, especially when he played so well when we needed him. I wouldn't see a need to replace Vorm if PG stepped up and we used Austin/Whiteman/Glover as 3rd choice. It would probably depend on MV's aspirations, ultimately.

I guess I also look at the potential signings like Grealish and wonder how Winks/Onomah would still get a look-in, so I would imagine (based on things Poch has said in the past) that we should expect some outgoing-ITK soon?

Lloris breaks his leg opening game. Gaza our only goalkeeper apart from youth?

nice one herc. hope the nugget about psg also means they're more likely to offload someone we would want (rabiot) if they're keen on doing business elsewhere. am all for danny saving money where he can but hope he doesn't hold out too long for the best price even if it means we still get the same player.

Might imply PSG become a new favourite shop for us

Pretty sure Liverpool have outspent us for the last decade and finished above us once or twice, so I'm missing your point
It was a point that the team that brings in a large quota of players usually doesnt do as well as everyone, media included, thinks they will. Everton and Spurs have done this previously, been really pleased with ourselves and then been atrocious.

Agreed, never understood the clamour for him to make way for a homegrown keeper. People don't understand that keeper could end up playing a huge chunk of the season if Lloris got injured and Vorm is the man for that. Leave the HG option to 3rd choice I say.
Problem is the number of non-HG players in the squad. 2nd and 3rd choice keepers HAVE to be named in CL squad so, if both are “foreign” then we are losing the choice over two outfield players. We had to leave out Lamela last season due to that. If we want to buy non-HG players this window, we will also need to sell or leave out someone again.

Unless we sell toby, dembele etc...

Zaha better than Lucas, dream on!

Dream on? Haha.
Zaha has played games in the PL in a poor side, which he has won on his own. He glides past players with ease and has a box of tricks.

I rate Lucas very highly too. I didn’t say Zaha was better. Lucas still has to prove himself in the PL, which I think and hope he will.

Just find it scary how many people don’t rate Zaha at all. He is easily one of the best players in the league.

We left out Lamela because he had two hip replacements and there was no guarantee he would be fit in time for the CL campaign

He is good but just think he is overrated and predictable in how he plays. Not bothered one way or another whether we get him or not

Did we ever get the cryptic solutions? Timing wise would make sense that Grealish was one of them.

Would be interesting if there's still stuff under wraps.
