Hopefully it's not true, but BEN on FTL is repeatedly claiming late October or even November for move in to the new stadium, and a number of league games played at Wembley.

NFL will not be impressed...

(But, I choose not to believe those reports. I think the stadium gets done in time for a first home match after the International Break.)

I can't see how we will be unable to play football at the new stadium until then.

Would not be surprised - which is why nfl were visiting this week. Havent heard how that went but concerned nothing on official site.

So much internals still to do - there is a reason why we are taking all the sparks money can buy.

Their is a high turnover of sparks on the job (I’m one of them).
They tend to take on 10 every Monday and by the next Monday there is usually only a few left.
Lots of people I know went there and left because of the way the main electrical contractor treat their employees and the welfare facilities are pretty horrendous

Just can’t see it unless interior is way behind which apparently it isn’t. Roof will be done by end June so will south stand and most exterior glazing and panelling. Just can’t see another 4 months is needed. But guess we will find out this week with fixtures.

weird thing is there has been some really minor jobs done that would surely not be as important as other jobs. great seeing the tiling near on complete on the outside, but surely those jobs could of been done right towards the end. I know that there is still a great amount to do from watching the videos and pictures displayed on this thread, but just look at the pictures 2 months ago, and we look to of completed a hell of a lot.

2 months till KO, 4 away games and an international break gives us 3 months to finish and hold 2 test events

Exactly my thoughts. Like today the bowl has been virtually empty. Surely if the project was that behind they’d be people on it 24/7. Like the roof seems to be mainly done at night. The feel I get is that it’s all in hand and under control.

Based on visit other day would hate to see what late internals look like if that was on schedule.
Realise that if you throw enough man power at it you might catch up but have to remember Levy wants the finish to be spot on.
Much to do - here's hoping.

The thing is, I’ve waited 10 years for this new stadium. I don’t want to go there until it’s completely completed now. If it’s a couple of months late then so be it.

Why leave the tilling till the end when it can be done now? It's not like it's an either or thing. More than one job can be done at yhe same time.

I guess it is hanging in the balance whether we will be in september or not, but i would be surprised if was later than that, i mean all the noise out of the club, either through official channels, players or the manager is that we will be in there next season and they seem to be pro-active in doing so. Of course that may mean October, but i think we would have heard so by now.

But i guess the days do tick over quick. 9th of June already!

Why can't both be done at the same time?

stop being so bloody awkward:ROFLMAO:, I'm just saying surely there are more important jobs to be done. we wouldn't fail an inspection without the tiling on the outside. that man could of been doing something more important on the inside, like fitting another seat:p

The uncertainty builds suspense. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that the club itself was feeding some of that uncertainty - especially if they knew it was on target. Get media interested in the what ifs, then announced it on schedule just before the finish. Big fanfare official opening with the Stadium Sponsors unveiled. Huge publicity - job done!

This media lark's easy innit! :p
