So, we are now expected to pay for a seat at Wembley when we already have paid for a season ticket!

Really do think the club have handled this terrible and have emailed them saying so, not that it will make a difference.

For months we've been left with tabloid speculation as to how the season would start, we bought ST's for 19 games at the new stadium and then at the last minute they let us know this. The THST were told and requested cash refunds but instead the club keep the money and offer credit notes, which means they lose out on squat.

As a ST holder's who attendance is restricted largely to those 19 games (18 most likely in this case) that credit note is wasted on me so I actually get punished.

But, but, but... next year you get your season ticket for 18/19ths of the price! Bargain.

What do you expect them to do if the stadium is not ready? You can use the refund for next years season ticket or maybe don't renew next year and give someone else a chance if you feel that strongly.

I think the club have handled this well really. None of us wanted another league game at Wembley but this apparently was the request of Poch so it is good enough for me.

So you're telling me the club and contractors that have built a brand new 62k stadium from the ground up in only 16 months have done a bad job because Your Royal Highness has to go and attend ONE game of a total of 19 at Wembley? Not only that they even refund pretty much the face value of the ticket for that game in case you really can't be bothered making the trip to that far destination of Wembley Park.

nope...you can use the credit the club is giving to every STH of 1/19th of your season ticket price which for the cheaper STs is around £40.

If the club don’t want to give the cash back, then perhaps they should allow you the credit in the club shop?

you can use the credit to buy any cup-game ticket or for next seasons ST. Can't see what's your loss really?

Been away from this site for a number of years, came back towards the end of the season out of curiosity and my how this place has changed!

Chances are this will be my last season due to the financial implications of now having a family etc, hence why my attendance now is limited to just league games.

The cost of getting to Wembley, despite it actually being geographically closer to my house than the Lane, makes getting there incredibly difficult.

I understand that it was Poch's decision and as I said in my email to the club I usually am fully behind what he says, just in the case as someone who is highly unlikely to be purchasing any additional tickets- I am effectively going to lost out on £50.

I also didn't criticise any of the work, I work across the road from the stadium site and it's remarkable what effort has gone into getting things to this point. They also haven't refunded it at all, by giving us all club credit they have lost zero money. The cost of getting to Wembley for me is greater and I am not saying I have any expectancy that each individual would be treated differently.

All I am saying is, along with the THST, they should've given us the refund in cash and then we could decide if we wanted to spend it on a ticket.

For the last few months every piece of media involving players, coaches etc talking about the new stadium has revolved around the new stadium seeing in the new season. We have been left with tabloid speculation as to whether things were going to be done on time.

The press knew before we did, the club knew before we did but they waited for the release of the fixtures once everyone was tied in to let us know.

The build- brilliant
The New Stadium- brilliant
The timing of the announcement- not great and not considered the fans IMO.

After all this is a forum for sharing opinions isn't it?
