Is this the "Let's all laugh at Harry Redknapp" thread?
He'd have a job to be good under Jol, as he left 10 months before he joined, and I don't think anyone in the team looked very good in the 8 games Bentley was at the club whilst Ramos wasI don’t think Bentley was very good under, Ramos, Jol or Rednapp.
Hopefully this gets wrapped up this week if he gets back from the holiday
How screwed are they?Him being on holiday is neither here nor there. It's all about agreeing the fee. Nothing more to it than that. Again the time is ticking away as far as Villa are concerned
Disagree all you like, you all know it’s true.Meh transfer, league cup signing really.
Nope, we were at an entirely different stage of our development as a club. You probably said the same thing about Dier.
Have to question how long you’ve been a Spurs fan. Dawson, Lennon, Rose, Huddlestone, Bale, Walker, Dier, Alli all this type of signing. Which of those were ‘league cup signings really’?Disagree all you like, you all know it’s true.
As I said in my last post we were an entirely different animal as a club when we made those signings.Have to question how long you’ve been a Spurs fan. Dawson, Lennon, Rose, Huddlestone, Bale, Walker, Dier, Alli all this type of signing. Which of those were ‘league cup signings really’?
We're not at the level you seem to think we are yet and the blueprint isn't going to be ripped up because of where you think we should be right now.As I said in my last post we were an entirely different animal as a club when we made those signings.

So you believe that he’ll walk into our starting eleven then? The same people who don't rate Grealish are probably the same that said Kane would never be a PL striker, so hardly an opinion worth worrying about
That’s not at all what I’m saying. So, because we're at a different stage of our development, we should stop buying cheap talent? Buying established stars is expensive, and no sure way of getting success. Look at Manchester United, what have they achieved since Ferguson left? Some trophies, sure, but nothing a club of that stature should be proud of, considering the money they've spent.
I would prefer we buy some established stars, but keep buying the young potential. Graelish can be massive in a year or two, and if not, we haven't spent a massive sum on him anyway.
You keep falling off your perch, try a bit harder. So you believe that he’ll walk into our starting eleven then?
