Cheers @Shadydan the most interesting thing for me is the fact you say they could have squeezed in another 10-20 k seats. That makes the size from outside make sense. It’s almost like we’ve built a 70-75k stadium. Did they say how many premium seats are left ?
It's the new regulations on seat sizes.

You say that. They had this system at Middlesbrough away a few seasons ago - I was trying to see how the cup worked and pushed the plastic disc up from the bottom of the glass - ended up with 3/4 of a pint over my shoes

You're not a Wet Spam fan in disguise are you? :cautious:

There was a bar in Belfast that had a self service tap on a few tables. You basically paid you money and pulled your own pints, haven't been there is ages so don't know if its still there.
Self service motorway service stations in Belgium. They've had then for years.

dmb111: ...The South Stand atrium is incredible! You've never appreciated how good the views are of London from Tottenham until you see this. Seriously impressive and a genuine feature of the stadium (really hope the hotel doesn't block any view)

I think the housing blocks will eventually obstruct the view of London from the south stand atrium.

dmb111:Exec areas and tunnel club look superb - tunnel club still largely incomplete but you are literally right on top of the players...

No. You'd be arrested if you tried that.

Any idea how they keep the cups from leaking out of the bottom? Seems to me that there would be seams.
One of the videos above showed how it worked. Metal rings - with a magnet on top. Push the glass on the dispenser and it pushes the magnet up, take it off the dispenser, and it settles back in place.

Magnets are marketing pieces - printed with any number of messages, and you keep the magnet after you drink the beer.

Yes - I am sure more than one person will test it out, only to lose their beer in the process...

It won't be expanded I don't think, the point is about the space in between the seats really...we could have easily crammed more seats in if we wanted to and even then you'd still have space to move around.

Not sure how many seats are left although he did show me a whole section of seats which weren't shifting in tier 1 on the East Stand I think right at the centre circle, other than than that the majority of the other ones have gone.

The space given around the seats is due to health and safety regulations. Pretty sure they are as close as they are allowed to be in a new build.

Actually a really good idea, must be at least a few times faster than pulling a pint.

As I said, witchcraft. Mind you, I drink stout and ale so not in to all that gassy watery piss. I'm not happy with my beer unless I can chew it. Filling up from the bottom? That's the devil's sorcery.

It can be done with Guinness.
