Extended leave for those involved, no sweat. If it’s an England v Belgium final on jul 15 we’ll have a reserve team out against Newcastle on Aug 11. Not even 4 weeks.
Lets face it, if England and Belgium go all the way we are screwed until about Xmas
They both need to lose asap and get on a beach so they are ready for the important stuff...
It won't even take that - all teams in the Semi-finals will play one more game - the losers play in the 3rd place match next Saturday. If it’s an England v Belgium final on jul 15 we’ll have a reserve team out against Newcastle on Aug 11. Not even 4 weeks.
There's over a month until the first premier league match and preseason hasn't started yet, but sure.May have to just accept start of our season is gonna be pretty f**ked. World Cup and stadium. If we manage to scramble 8/9 pts from first 4 games we’ve done very well. If ever there was a season to make early transfers and have 2 or 3 ready to hit ground running this was it. Our season won’t really start till sept 15th.
What’s the loan situation date wise for players like Onomah Ccv can we hang onto them past August 9th and sort a loan later ?

Agreed but I dont think it would be a good idea to play them as they will get tired next seasonOn the flip side if our five come back as World Cup winners they'll be absolutely flying i am sure!
Or they'll come back in a perpetual state of hangover. On the flip side if our five come back as World Cup winners they'll be absolutely flying i am sure!
It’s actually hard to think of another sport where athletes have to perform at 100% 9/10 months a year and every 3 or 7 days under such scrutiny like the PL .If a player is even 5% off these days he will get called out. Maybe tennis is closest but then it’s only you that suffers not a team. Rugby cricket I reckon you can get away with a bit if you’re not 100% physically at it. Must be hugely mentally draining to get yourself up for big game after big game. And that’s without all the outside media pressures. It’s not surprising only the very few maintain consistent high levels.
