All this to sign a squad player from a broke Championship team? Laughable. The only player we’re actually being linked to? Imagine us trying to negotiate for a truly top class player? Not happening is it.
We may get Grealish over the line eventually , but we’ll be left disappointed by the end of this window no doubt.??

If Villa are asking for £30-£40m and not budging until they physically have to, I make Levy 100% right in waiting to try and get the best deal

Becoming a common theme during transfer windows.

Can’t imagine why.
The amount of times you (not you personally) can vent on the same subjects in multiple threads, opinions are fine, the same opinion on repeat ... Nah, hard pass for me.

There's three weeks left to get a guy in most of you didn't want in the first place. Why the sudden wrist slitting tonight? Actually I know why, because Liverpool are signing a fucking goalkeeper. It's boring as fuck.

I think it’s more because our near rivals such as Liverpool have strengthened substantially, signing four solid first teamers, during which time we’ve managed to flog one youth player while apparently struggling to get a lad from the championship in in any hurry

Fine. Why not all go rant in the Levy thread in Spurs chat then, instead we get every transfer thread full of this shit.

Because the “player from the championship” I referenced in my post is the one this thread happens to be about.

Kinda how this whole internet forum idea works.

It’s not just about this guy tho is it! It’s just that this guy happens to be the only guy who we actually have a genuine interest.

@tiger666 and @Vinny_Sammways_left_peg what exactly are you defending here? It's not the integrity of the thread...

We have 3 weeks to shift double figures of players before we sign anyone according to ITK.

According to ITK we are not that far apart on valuation of Jack.
Pretty much is mate, Liverpool and their transfer dealings have fuck all to do with a Jack Grealish thread, pretty much like a back up goalie has fuck all to do with it.

Nothing you have just posted other than the valuation of Grealish has fuck all to do with this thread.

:)

Have you guys maybe thought that any signings might be announced along with big news on the stadium (including sponsors etc.)?

Are we in DIRE need for any players in particular before the season starts or are you all just desperate for a new name to fawn over? We're in a position to get the best out of any negotiation, such is our current depth IMO. We've lost no one of note and were one of the best teams in Europe last year, let's have a bit of perspective.

Only Harry Winks is injured at the moment and he's just had the operation not long ago. I was usually one to gnash teeth a bit about windows and yes, our negotiations always seem to be painfully protracted...last year I was annoyed about the right back situation not being sorted (and wasn't Crazy Serge worth waiting for?! LOL!), but barring some actual goal scoring back up for Harry I can't see a real want in the squad.

I expect there to be moves, but honestly, I can't understand everyone's fucking hurry tbh. Getting players in as early as possible to integrate with the squad makes sense, but realistically who's going to come in and just waltz on to one of the best sides in England/Europe?!

Relax ffs.
