I'm not actually that bothered we didn't get anyone. I'd rather this than a Sissoko type signing again. Lets just hope we are pushing top 4 again or Levy is going to get a load of shit.

On to January where the pain starts all over again
not me though, with all the previous windows are never thought it will ever be like this.
Now my expectations are thoroughly done.

Better go stop my direct debit for my season ticket. none of my pennies are going into that tight chairman pocket. will sit in my living room and watch on sky/BT.

Relax people I am disappointed, but when I think about who we actually have and who we kept. I can see us being better this year. If we do 3 at the back that's Toby, Jan and DS with wing backs like Trippier who has now probably one of the best set piece specialist in the world after his WC with BD and DR LB who might discover top form. On top of that we have a fully fit Lamela, Winks coming back, and a full pre-season with Moura who will probably be our biggest surprise this year. I can see us competing on all fronts still, so people need to stop winging get behind Poch and back the team. What's done is done. The only one I really wanted was Grealish, but Villa slammed the door shut.

Totally get those who are upset but be interesting if there is anyone out there prepared to give DL credit for rebuffing Utd approaches for Toby especially ones that did not include Martial? Apparently, we were showing no ambition by bending over for them?? Well, Toby is still here.

Let me save you the grief - I have been to the future:

January 31: "Always it is difficult to buy players in the January window. It is important to find the right value, but maybe teams don't like to sell. But I am very happy with the squad. We are ready to compete! In the summer, it will be easier to buy players."

Nearly everyone has strengthened whilst we have not and a couple of injuries puts us right in the shit again.

Totally disagree.

Man Utd signed Fred, a player in a position they very much needed. They also bought another young star that could possibly make an impact this season but more likely for the future. Maureen clearly wanted another experience CB but like us baulked at the asking prices and most likely Levys for Toby. But they do have a shit load of CBs already.

Citeh are in a different league. Their squad is unbelievable and on a different planet than our but they have still moved forward and brought in more quality.

Arsenal are in transition and have brought in experience and will be much better for it.

Liverpool have done brilliant business. Just saying Keira is worth shouting about is foolish.

Not singling out you, but im bloody fed up of the happy clappers;

The ones that were all happy on the bandwagon of the 150m net spend, make or break Levy, statement stadium signing etc....

Now with no signings and no sales (albeit European window still open).....

It's not too bad - Toby will be like a new signing...

Jeez.

Mourinho wanted two other players. Didn't get either

Pep's targets were ambitious, but again only got Mahrez who wasn't really needed.

Liverpool's business is decent, but are Fabinho, Allison, Shaqiri better than what we have? Keita is top top class.

Arsenal's signings bar Torreira are poor. Guendouzi shows promise.

Jorghino is a good buy.

European clubs have had all the premiership clubs by the balls by the looks of it.

and all the dross is still on our books which will again stop us from new signings.
