This one was definitely the worst one for me personally. All my friends where Liverpool fans and we shared a university house together and I had to sit through with them. It would have been less painful if they had all taken turns kicking me in the nuts ?

Everton 4 Tottenham 1 in the '95 cup semi-final.

I know exactly where I was. My Father had just died and I got an illness called Vasculitis I was in an isolation ward and I remember throwing my plastic jug of orange juice against the wall at full time. It make it worse the surgeon who done my biopsy was an Arsenal fan. Fast forward 25 years and I'm in a cancer ward watching us throw away another great chance to win something but Chelsea had to ruin that. No jugs were harmed this time LOL ?

This kit epitomises the 90s. I loved this kit though because it was the shittiest material in the entire world. Fucking bobbled more than a bobble

I had the fluorescent green goalkeepers shirt. Would have itched less if I had worn sandpaper.

I was there when Klinsmann scored 4 at Selhurst Park to beat Wimbledon. To this day a treasured memory. 3 of his goals came in 6 second half minutes if I recall, and the mercurial Saïb scores his one and only Spurs goal.

I wonder what percentage of today’s Spurscommunity remember that there once was a team called Wimbledon...

They were so fucking itchy! I had the same one. I also had the yellow one with black shoulder pads.

Me too. I was only about 10. And to this day I don't know where my parents used to get the gk tops from....did they sell them in standard sports shops back then? They weren't from the club shop. But every year I'd be presented with a new spurs gk top. Even though I never played in goal.

That remains one of my best away games.

Another one was also actually at the same ground. The semi final of the league cup when Iverson scored the only goal against Wimbledon.
As it was Wimbledon and they had hardly any fans we basically took over their ground :).

Well I say their ground, but it wasn’t even theirs. Think we ended up playing there several times in one season actually.

In 1999 iirc. Twice in the league, twice in the FA Cup and twice in the League Cup.

Yup this, Kinnear had them under strict instructions to boot Ginola into the stands at every opportunity, then publicly accused him of diving.

Itchy shirts and an overwhelming desire to keep his hair neat and tidy Ian Walker didn't have a hope in Hell of saving anything.
