What a fucking joke. Do they really expect me to believe that up until this evening Chelsea was possible, but now with no apparent development they can rule out Chelsea, Southampton, Burnley and Bournemouth? Because I don't believe that. Which means they've been witholding information from paying customers who've spent four-figure sums on season tickets with no explanation.

Very disappointing news. So looking forward to us moving in and got my season ticket pack today!

Many of our fans already seem to hate the club so this is going to get vicious now and the club will do well not to down in negativity.

It's all okay mate. As a gesture of goodwill, we won't pay any booking fees for buying Wembley tickets!

They couldn't even manage that lol - charged us booking fees for the CL games we wouldn't have had to pay at WHL, on top of the inconvienience of having to buy them individually despite being on the automatic cup scheme, and then they very kindly refunded it afterwards.

It's the communication which is really shocking. I get it, delays can happen. But we haven't been told promptly. We haven't been told what's gone wrong since the initial delay. We haven't been told how we're going to be compensated. We haven't been told about arrangements for fans like @rebrab who are now out of pocket to the tune of thousands of pounds. But they have just told us how rich they are.

At least we can quit with the faux optimism now. Why they just don’t announce the whole season and be done with it is beyond me. And anyone that truly believes this would have been ready for Liverpool is on another planet. They’ve known for months it would never be ready.

Fucking 15 more years of shitty Nike template kits...

That’s a bizarrely long deal. Also it doesn’t say how much for. Was there a news story about that? Feels like that’s been slipped out amidst the bluster

Arsenal already get twice what we do a season and that’s just for 5 years. Doesn’t it make sense to not lock in a deal when a) all your rivals get more and b) you would hope to be improving?

Not sure “get as much as you can while you can” is a good look. Anyone else have any deets around this?

I haven't followed along much, but seriously what is taking so long? Is it the inspection process in London? Contractors not showing up? I don't get it. I see a decent amount of construction as I'm in retail development and I'm shocked there is just zero time table or anything.

Seems to be a stupid deal. You should continue to do whatever the standard lengths are to continue to negotiate your deal over time. Surely kit deals are just going to continue to increase, right?

They've just followed up with the ticketing email. Refunds work the same as before. Chelsea is Catergory A. No sign of a gesture of goodwill or anything for moving us to a shithole in the wrong part of London at short notice.

Stadium naming rights tie up? Maybe wishful thinking but in isolation it sure looks odd

So the next possible opening date is a League Cup semi-final first leg on the 8th of January. Don't worry though - I'm sure we'll spend Wednesday night making sure we don't get anywhere near that :ROFLMAO:

Really pissed off about this. The club should be refunding us the money for the games moved to Wembley now, not holding on to it until 7 days before the onsale date. Fucking joke

And effectively paying more. 1/19th of my season ticket last year was 40.80, now I'm expected to pay £54 for Cat A & £45 for Cat B. Something doesn't add up here...well apart from the interest earned for Tottenham holding our cash

Should be 1/19th of your ST for this year you get back - which unfortunately is almost certainly more than £40.80!

Once relegation and title situations start panning out in new year I could see massive opposition from other clubs to us moving in January/ February.

Gutted. I was really hoping we’d get in to the new place before Christmas to give ourselves a lift and help the team push on. Ughh. Even more games at Wembley , the gigantic turd that won’t flush.
