Poch was brave midweek and has retreated into his shell again with that central midfield duo - should have stayed as a 3 man with at least one of Winks or Eriksen involved.

Obviously having analysed their physical conditioning the risk of injury is too great to start. Obviously both would be starting if not.

Amazes me that people analyse team selection after 5 games in 13 days as anything other than whoever's not in the red zone plays

As if Poch actually wants to start Wanyama and sissoko in cm

Nah not having that team - not happy

We will no doubt win to make me look like a **** but in the meantime - NOPE NOPE NOPE

Poch is doing his best to manage the player's minutes, we've had a load on injuries, players had no pre season and players out of form so he picks the team what he sees best, you may not be happy with the team but at the end of the day as long as we win who gives a fuck right now.

Difference playing against PSV at home and Palace away. It's going to be physical.

I don't think anyone's really blaming Poch per se. Given the fixture congestion and injury issues, it's perfectly understandable why Winks and Eriksen would be on the bench.

It's more frustration at the fact that we have left ourselves in a situation where we'd have to start Sissoko and a wildly out of form Wanyama together in CM in a league match.

Well poch's hands have been tied for this season thus far with the world cup and injuries ect. Our team is abit all over the place for the time being with different players being at differing stages of fitness along with the steady returns on those injured players.
Fingers crossed we can take advantage of palace with no zaha and then re-group after the internationals.

Big game

Other than the fact he has just come back from injury?

I suppose yeah, I get paranoid when stuff like this happens as it's how he started to phase out Walker and Alderweireld when they wanted out. Probs just me looking for stuff that's not there though.

I believe that now makes five muscle injuries to players who were at the World Cup.

Edit: The actual number is seven. Shocking.
