Two backup DMs in an away game at a London rival with one of the best AMs in the country is no problem for me after 5 games in 13 days. Provided that we have players ahead of them to create and score. Which we do. This is called using the squad.

I do wonder, however, if one of the two was going to be under orders to mark Zaha and with him not there we will seem a bit conservative. But Poch couldn't have known that and we have plenty of options on the bench

Poch is doing his best to manage the player's minutes, we've had a load on injuries, players had no pre season and players out of form so he picks the team what he sees best, you may not be happy with the team but at the end of the day as long as we win who gives a fuck right now.

Agreed.

Surprised Dier doesn't start at the back but Foyth has done well to be fair (despite giving a couple of pens away but he looked tired by that point). The Sanchez injury is a huge blow with Vertonghen out and no Foyth in the CL squad, we have to rotate smartly. I guess he doesn't want to risk Dier now, maybe we should get him out of the England squad as well.

We need to be at it offensively today, score more than we concede (I'm not convinced we wont concede today).

Sanchez hamstring injury !!!!

On the bright side, he won’t be playing any international games next week and risk further injury or tiredness / jet lag.

If it’s minor, he should be back when the PL restarts after the international break.

That's possibly the strongest set of players i have seen on a Spurs bench in decades.

Apologies for another negative post but I am not looking forward to seeing us defend corners in this weather.

A decent team. With Zaha out I really fancy us as they dont have too much to damage us. A fast start and an early goal (for us!) Please.

Hang on. Just got to my seat and popped over to twitter for the team. Where’s Sanchez? Im now worried. No zaha is good though since him facing Trippier scared me shitless

Apart from missing Winks and Sanchez, this is the strongest in-form team we play today. COYS
