Completely agree. Veil looks amazing in daytime but not so much at night unfortunately.
I'll be very surprised if the stadium isn't up-lit on the outside during the night once finished.

The screen on the side will likely be lit up 24/7I'll be very surprised if the stadium isn't up-lit on the outside during the night once finished.
I really hope we dont have those stupid flags that are waved after goals ala Arsenal.
That said, hopefully we wont have the room as we are so much closer to the pitch
Will it? I didn't know that.the veil will be lit from behind by colour changing led’s remember

They are waved for the TV really - the fans are mostly out of shot when a goal is scored, but the flag waving gives the impression the fan celebrations are much closer to the pitch.I really hope we dont have those stupid flags that are waved after goals ala Arsenal.

Yes that's correct because the North stand has those grow lights stored behind the goalThey are waved for the TV really - the fans are mostly out of shot when a goal is scored, but the flag waving gives the impression the fan celebrations are much closer to the pitch.
By the way, I think it is only the new park lane stand that is closer to the pitch compared to the emirates. There's a picture somewhere on this thread.
I think the main concern is of the curved structure which doesn't have those panels on. So the veil will light up around it but not the other bit where you can see the escalator from outside. It doesn't look great at this moment but we'll have to see when it's finished. I think the issue with the pictures at this time is there's still much work going on and the internal lights are probably exagerated for workers to see what they're doing.
The major difference is that with every row the emirates gets further from the pitch so by row thirty you are only as far back as row twenty at the emirates. They are waved for the TV really - the fans are mostly out of shot when a goal is scored, but the flag waving gives the impression the fan celebrations are much closer to the pitch.

wrong...the north is nearer than the filth are.Yes that's correct because the North stand has those grow lights stored behind the goal
The flags and scarfs for me make the Liverpool and Dortmund ends look more 'busy' so gives a more packed feel

I understood what he was trying to say but there was a typo. Did you really not understand the point?please read that again then tell us if by row 30 you are only as far back as row 20 at ?
Well I was referring to the fact there's more space at the North end compared to the South. You're right though it's closer at each end compared to the Emirates. The previous post below is a good look.wrong...the north is nearer than the filth are.
Along the sides yes, behind both goals is closer (there's is in red)

Please God I hope it comes to pass this way. The lift the whole club would get could propel us on to some really good things.edmonton: Definitely trying for January
(as opposed to what some people are saying we wont move in this season)
