Some of you lot need to sack up.

Also Man United aren’t the draw they once were, it’s a parochial view of their fans and the British media that thinks they are

Ultimately I think the stadium could play a key part in all this. We all know that Poch is a person all about holistic feeling, he talks about it all the time.

When we get in the new stadium and he gets the feels from it, it could play a massive part in his thought process, making the emotional connection here even stronger.

We really need to be in the place as soon as possible.

This was before Levy fucked him over in the Summer transfer window. He is no mug and if there's further dithering in January he will no longer believe Levy's promises.

Shouldn't believe all the newspaper headlines and rumours about transfers both Levy & Poch have constantly stated that we cannot compete with the spending of Man City etc. The only way we will sign new players is to sell, plus new contracts for Kane , Dele , Son , Lamela, Sanchez and Poch himself will have taken a large chunk out of any transfer budget.

He said that last week. He said the only way he leaves is if Levy sack’s him. But people have ignored that because the media haven’t mentioned it!

Yes but Mourinho was in charge of United this time last week. The landscape has changed, Poch is their number one target to replace him, so the context within answering that very question is vastly different.

I'm praying he stays, he's just an exceptional manager and even though we could carry on doing well without him, I firmly believe we wouldnt see the same rate of progression under someone else.

I dont think Poch will leave (and cannot wait to see their ****ish faces) however i wouldnt stay with a girlfriend just because she has a nice house... if i wanted to leave her, the penthouse apartment in Haringey aint going to keep me when the other girlfriend is a millionaire and already has her mansion...

But a stadium is more than a house. It’s a cathedral of football. If you had two girls into you, and the other girl is richer and comes from a successful family, but the girl you’re currently with gives you a special feeling every Saturday afternoon, you’re more likely to stay, no?

What is annoying me is not so much the blatant tapping up by Sky because they want their Man Utd back but its more the complete fucking lack of respect being shown to us as a football club.

Since Fergie retired, we've been a consistently better football club than Man Utd in every single way but because Sky continue to employ biased dinosaurs from Manchester and Merseyside, we'll never be given the respect we deserve.

It's like some weird hybrid cross in this thread between Debbie downer and mystic meg :cautious:

Just wait and see is the best I can come up with personal opinion is he stays he just doesn't strike me as the type to just feck off when things are going well to me.
Let's give the man the credit he deserves.

Personally I can understand why Poch would certainly consider it. But there's something really sad about this all if he goes. He's in touching distance of already achieving greatness with us, on a shoe string compared to our rivals, and the progression we've seen has been truly remarkable.

Another two years with us and I'm certain we will have won things. But who knows what happens if he leaves, we could be back struggling to get into the top four, setting us back considerably.

We've more than bridged the gap with our richer rivals, but the elite won't have that.

United have pretty much always got what they wanted when it comes to us, and we've come so far now, I would love it if they were denied Pochettino.

But believe this, if he goes, our top players will be next.

I wish Jenas worked for Sky instead of BT

Isn't the cathedral of football old Trafford? That's the theatre of dreams but you get my drift.

And those special feelings are why I think he will stay but he wouldn't stay because we have a new stadium.

And when he stays I think it will be a huge statement to the players and fans as well as football that he spurned two of the biggest jobs for us.

We’re gonna lose some players anyway. This team is coming to the end of a cycle and will need to be renewed. That will be a part of his thinking.

The term “selling club” is always bandied about pejoratively in SSN, but look at Liverpool and Dortmund, both top of the league less than 12 months after selling some of their big players - Coutinho, Dembele, Aubemeyang. As long as you reinvest wisely, it’s not always a bad thing.

The first match at the stadium will be by far the biggest emotional moment for fans, players and Poch. It will have an effect on him, I am sure of that.

I know Jan and Toby are getting on, as is Dembele, but bar that it's a very young squad, no?

The key players aren’t that young anymore. It’s like Eriksen, it’s a choice for him whether to give his prime years to us, or chance his arm elsewhere. A few of them will have that in their mind.

Eriksen was thinking about it regardless of Poch. I'm more thinking of Kane and Dele etc

Stop being all doom and gloom.

I want Poch to stay but this club is in rude health whatever happens - best ever in my life (age 47).

Our infrastructure is probably the best in the country now.

Whatever happens we will be fine - and I believe Poch will stay.

Enjoy your life - enjoy your club
