Almost feel more confident of us turning up away from home at the moment. Highly doubt the game at the bridge will be anything like that.

Will be another completely different game. Now can we get something from SB where we just don't very often.?

Time to show what we are made of. Coys

Cup semi final against our most hated rival and a lot of players just weren’t at the gates today. Absolutely pathetic and lucky to get a win.
Really? You are right we didn't play as we know we can but Chelsea played well and we defended well.

Chelsea played well without having any massive opportunities, we weren't aren't our best but put in a professional final 20 minutes, the type of 20 minutes that would have infuriated me as a Chelsea fan, time wasting galore. Love it.

The protection Hazard gets from referees is a joke. Every little nudge or barge was a foul, and if that little virgin went down holding his pinky toe, the ref would brandish a yellow card. Prick

Happy with the win but we rly got dominated in that second half.
Not all luck that we got the win though - we defended great at times and kept our shape - some nice attacking football in the first half as well. Seems like we just ran out of energy and couldn't keep up.

What’s the chances of 3 wins on the trot v Chelsea!!

As Liam once said.....

I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.

Not a great performance but dug in and hung on for the slender lead.

Don't like Toby at LCB too negative in possession and passing out with him there and Davinson on the right can be a bit pedestrian. He always wants to pass back inside or hoof it long.

Thought Eriksen was poor, son and Alli too although Alli did some good defensive work.

Hopefully recharge over the next 5 days and be firing on all cylinders against a rejuvenated Utd...

We won with a poor performance, I'm happy with that. They need to chase the game now so hopefully we can score on the counter against them at the bridge

Not just Dembele but we needed to make a decision on Wanyama weeks ago. Winks and Sissoko have started a stupid amount of football these last few weeks. We should have had a DM lined up to sign on 1st Jan and then just loaned out Wanyama when he got fit this month.

Yeah. I’ve missed Dier to be fair.

We do need him back, if only just to give Winks and Sissoko a rest. Only problem is he can’t play in games like tonight when we’re pressed high either.

Which is why we are in such a need for at least one quality CM player who can receive the ball and play out of the press.

A big shoutout to Dele Alli, once again what a defensive performance from him
Just because he didn’t score people will overlook him but he was my MOTM today

I also though Eriksen was superb defensively.

Chelsea were aggressive and determined, and although we dug in off the ball, we wanted far too much space and time to play up through the pitch.

Maybe a case of tired minds, as we were very slow trying to play out from the back and couldn't handle their high press at all.

Such a mature and intelligent display of defending a lead tonight. Not keen on only playing the ball out, would have preferred Gazza kicked it out more often and hoped for a breakaway second, as did Poch probably. Anyway, it was clear Poch wanted us to stay condensed and not allow too much space. Well done to the lads. Quality.
