I'm trying to think if Llorente has ever really had a run in the team. I'm sure when Kane got injured before Son played up top. It may be worth giving Llorente a proper run of games. There's still a good player there but maybe just needs regular football to find scoring form. If he's not scoring at least others can play off him.

I’m actually surprised rival players and managers don’t target his ankles now. One direct hit early in a game and they will know it will put him out of the match and following fixtures.

This has been gone over time and again, but unless you pay them absolutely silly wages, what kind of No 9 is going to come here to fill in for Kane for a few weeks, with the knowledge that however well he does he'll be on the bench as soon as Harry's fit? You either are going to get someone young, unproven and risky, or someone old and over the hill, like Llorente.

Or you get someone like Werner who can play:
instead of Kane
with Kane
or instead of Son/Alli/Eriksen

That squad place got taken up by Lucas, the only way Werner will get game time is if we sell Lucas or Lamela.
If we can see the potential issue of game time don't you think the players see it too?

I agree ... but if we have the possibility to get Werner, i would sacrifice one of lucas/lamela - higher ceiling, better finishing
