If I were him, I would go to Germany in a heartbeat. Seeing the number of English youngsters who are playing and thriving in Bundesliga and knowing that you will have the best chance to not only play and improve as a player, but also experience a different culture and country? You have to take that chance.
If he does well enough, he will be able to take his pick when it comes to choosing his next move. Move to the Premier League, go to another country and experience another culture if he enjoys it, or stay where he is. The world is his oyster.
All one of them? Where has this myth come from?
Sancho - doing well.
Nelson - doesn’t start most games.
Bennetts - sent to their second team, flopped.
Lookman was okay.
Hinds - released by Wolfsburg.
Oxford? Played a handful of games, hardly pulled up trees.
Who else are you deeming a rip roaring success over there?
