Cant believe that this beauty has become a bit of a millstone around our necks of late. I just get tons of stick from my mates about Spurs being homeless pikeys. I know its just jealousy, as this will eventually propel us to compete, but dont need the extra pressure what with the stuff going on pitch side.

It's odd, there's a video from Sporf about how NWHL may be the best stadium in world football...and it says the first game is against Crystal Palace in March.

Yes I fully understand that they don't know anything about when the first match will be.

But what if they do?
can you share a link to the video

That Stacey bloke on twitter has said some more stuff in the fire alarms etc , also said “Who is up for seeing our under 23's play there on the 23/24 of Feb? It's close, and I don't like sitting on the fence but it could anyway.”

There’s a thread but not sure how to link it here

Our U23s don't have a game that weekend so presumably we could arrange a friendly. Although they do play Arsenal at home the week before and Chelsea at home the week after - I wonder if one of those could be moved?

I’ve no idea on how accurate the info this Stacey guy gives out but you have to admire him sharing the info, especially on twitter where people are more Neanderthal than on forums in the main.

Maybe by the first week of February things will be a lot clearer. Personally I want us in there this year even if it’s only for a few games. Sure the excitement has been dampened down a lot for me, but I suspect that would completely change once an actually opening game was nailed on. Then it would be really real.

Had a quick look, as they used the possibility of of 2 dates itt sounded like a cup game.
We top (or have topped if it's just 3 games) our group in the Premier league international Cup (an u23 tournament)
Only games I can see still to play (none for us) are 29th and 30th.

I couldn't find anything on potential dates for the next round, but we might know we will have a, game on either of those days, just not sure against who.

I dont see how he can be giving out the info so i do question the accuracy because hes all over spurs social media which the club would patrol so anything contraversial could get blocked by the club

That said the veil work will be fininshed in a week and cosmetically the ground will be complete from the outside. I cannot see how that cannot mean we wont play there this season

They definitely seem to be in a rush to finish the east side veil, going up much quicker than west did. Logically if it was next season you’d wonder why they’d be bothering.

Can you imagine having a completed stadium empty for 6 months ?
