To clarify my earlier post, if we knew it wasn't going to be ready we could have just made the announcement by now and the fact that we haven't done leads me to believe we don't know it won't be ready which means we think that it might or it will be ready and we are just therefore finalising arrangements.
I have always considered you as one of my best friends on here and would like nothing more than to spend your very belated special 40th with you and everyone else

Yeah I think the delay in announcing is probably a good thing. You’d expect they’d announce Arsenal and palace together. They can’t keep doing announcements every 2 weeks. So I’d imagine Palace is right on the edge. I don’t think the fact palace may be in the FA cup would have any relevance I’d expect them still to announce it as 1st game if it’s ready.

Four weeks ago today, we were promised an update in "two to three weeks". We've heard nothing. I'm struggling to see how that could mean good news: there must have been something due to happen that'd let them give us further information which hasn't gone to plan. In any case, the way they've just pretended they never said that and ignored the fans is pretty poor.
