Would be interested to see how many times they've been hit for 5 or 6 this season. Three not a bad team tbf. I render we squeaked It at Wembley against them and they attacked?
At the minute, they're about 10/12 goals better off than Cardiff...who do get smacked for 5/6 against the top teams.
Brighton got beaten 5-0 by Bornemouth a few weeks back...imagine what City could do to them

IMO we would have only picked up 5 point from 9 and would have probably been knocked out of the CL if it wasn't for our new stadium.

If anyone doubt the affect it's had on us then they're in denial.

Next time I watch a game like this, I’m going to do it in an emergency ward in case I need medical help quickly.

Would rather Son and Moura playing up top, the set up today had them both wide but from a deep starting position.

and just contributed to our slow play. as when either received it they had two defenders in front of them.

Agreed. Hopefully we get those two on Saturday and maybe moura up top next Tuesday!

One thing that really infuriated me was Trippier receiving the ball in a crossing position and almost every time, passing it back inside! His only redeeming quality is supposed to be his crosses. If he refuses to do that then he really is useless

I agree. But I do think he's following instructions to be fair to him.

Pretty appalled by some of the anti-Brighton remarks here. They're in a relegation scrap, and have every right to play as they see fit against CL semi-finalists playing in their new half billion pound stadium. Some perspective please.

Great provincial club with great traditions and a top man as coach.
I like Brighton but the problem is the time wasting that teams like them and Burnley get away with. The Premier League need to crack down on it as it disrupts the game and destroys the spectacle.

i hope we get to rest a fully rotated team for bournemouth

If we beat Spam, United lose to City and beat Chelsea, than we are guaranteed top four (based on our superior GD). Then we could use our fringe / youth players for the Bournemouth game.

Fucking hell what a relief! So difficult to score when they have eleven men behind the ball and went bloody mental when eriksen scored a very typical eriksen goal.

Friend I want with it was his first spurs game at the new stadium and his favourite player scored which made it even better.

COYS!!!!

Yep - if Cardiff stay up by a point, Warnock has some serious backtracking to do

The problem was caused by us pushing up to the by-line, when the whole game Brighton were swamping the full width of the final third. In that position it's nigh on impossible to get the angle and space to make a cross.

Instead we should have been keeping Trippier and Rose back and making early crosses from deep. Trippier in particular specialises in that role.

The shape and approach was all wrong for the way Brighton set themselves up, and we didn't adapt. We won out by virtue of flinging mud at the wall and hoping it would stick.
