Poor game, anybody who goes into a player thread and bashes a particular player after that game is a bellend, bar Eriksen and Lloris everybody was poor.
Really? He had about 4 things to do all match.
1 he punched it when he could easily have caught it.
2 he fannyed around kicking it wasting time when we only had 8min left to score.
3 when we were 1 up with just a few mins left he puts a goal kick off the pitch 3 yards inside our own half.

Not a shocking performance but given he had very little to do what he did do he didnt do very well imo (confused myself there lol). Do do dont day doh.

Edit, Eriksen hardly had a good game either. Was trying miracle balls all night to be fair. It was a shit game made impossible by Brighton. Forget it, job done. Next.

The problem was caused by us pushing up to the by-line, when the whole game Brighton were swamping the full width of the final third. In that position it's nigh on impossible to get the angle and space to make a cross.

Instead we should have been keeping Trippier and Rose back and making early crosses from deep. Trippier in particular specialises in that role.

The shape and approach was all wrong for the way Brighton set themselves up, and we didn't adapt. We won out by virtue of flinging mud at the wall and hoping it would stick.

We did try that first half. And Duffy & Dunk used it as heading practice

I like Brighton but the problem is the time wasting that teams like them and Burnley get away with. The Premier League need to crack down on it as it disrupts the game and destroys the spectacle.

Absolutely.
The ref repeatedly warned Ryan during the first half then punished him by adding one minute!!! Fucking joke.
These pricks know they can get away with it. He should’ve booked him and made hughton & Dunk aware that he would book him again if he carried on.

I didn't think Lloris had enough to do the whole game to be put into the poor category, I didn't say he had a good game and I wouldn't say Eriksen was poor either either, he was by far our best player on the night though that doesn't say a lot.

Enjoying the tears of Arsenal fans crying over our scheduling because they can't grasp how F.A cup rescheduling works.

Pretty appalled by some of the anti-Brighton remarks here. They're in a relegation scrap, and have every right to play as they see fit against CL semi-finalists playing in their new half billion pound stadium. Some perspective please.

Great provincial club with great traditions and a top man as coach.

They did what they had to do. They gambled and they lost, much to our relief.

People expect teams to open up and play so it benefits us, Brighton didn't annoy me whatsoever tonight, they're entitled to time waste and it's the referee who has the responsibility to book them for doing so and manage the game accordingly and he failed to do so. There is a vast vast difference between what Brighton did and what Burnley did last night.

Don't be down mate, you're not alone. It takes longer to finish peeing in your later years. They'll have leaflets about it in your doctors reception. (y)

The problem is that it’s all written in fine print and my eyesight isn’t that good these days.

I appreciate your opinion. They have man city and arsenal out of their final 3. I think if they do the same against them they'll come unstuck again. #relegated?

They might get something against Arsenal if they make use of their physicality
