Buzzing for the next two games! 4-0 up against Bournemouth after 60 then rest some players, then win 1-3 on Wednesday! What a week it’s going to be!

The firs half tactics were wrong. What we needed was a Sam Allardyce approach against this team and we did exactly that in the second half. I don’t blame Llorente Moura or even Alli. When quality service was given, chances were created. But that was scarce. Trippier and Rose were awful. Not a single cross found its way into dangerous areas in the box - for a team with such dependency on that area of creativity that was simply not good enough. Eriksen was poor in service as well but we can’t keep expecting him to do a Brighton.

But the second half performance was promising. We get 3 points on Saturday and top 4 is guaranteed. We then play with freedom and go for Ajax throats second leg. That is our cup final. Come on you Spurs.

We all talk about squad and transfers which I don't disagree with, but do we truly believe anything is going to change this summer?
Every player who is linked at moment @JJetset is rubbishing or saying poch not interested, who are we after? I don't see anything changing but it ultimately could cost us this season as I am more worried about Sat at present then I am next Wed. Lose on Sat, then confidence is rock bottom for Wed 2nd leg but then needing to beat everton at home on last game of season, to think we could finish 6th still is rather demoralising.
The funniest thing about it would be Watford winning FA cup and Levy having to lose money with the tour as we ned to start Europa qualifications, he took a gamble in the summer and January and it could still backfire.
Huge game on Sat and we should al concentrate on that game first, win it and great we can relax and go into Wed with confidence, lose and its unthinkable... as for summer - trippier will hopefully be sold aswell as some other dead wood and we will make some quality signings, this squad badly needs help

Poch just admitted starting with a back 3 was a mistake. So let’s see what happens in the 2nd leg!!!

Ridiculous. It hasn’t worked all season in the main.

He has continuously get his first half tactics wrong this season. Thankfully we’ve had good enough players to rectify it at half time on many occasions.

How do u suggest we started? No Lucas or Llorente? Since u complain, what alternative lineup should we have fielded?
The SHAPE was completely wrong. 3 at the back does not work for us and hasn’t for a while. We were completely over run in midfield.

The difference in speed of thought and speed of movement of their front 5 or 6 and ours was chalk and cheese. Dele may as well of been sat in stands with Kane and Sonny, so slow and ponderous I’ve seen continental drift move faster than he did tonight.

At one point in the first half Rose won the ball near our box and played it to him, it went under his foot and Rose steamed into 2 or 3 tackles to try and win it back while he was stood there with his thumb up his arse. I’m Kane and Son’s absense you need your Dele’s and your Eriksen’s to step up and neither did unfortunately

I’d of snatched your hand off for 0-1 after the first 30mins, we are still in this tie but we absolutely must be light years better around the opposition box than we have been in recent weeks. And for my sanity if nothing else please Poch, put a young attacking player on the bench instead of all defenders and defensive midfielders

I hope he realises the 16/17 way was the best, it just needed modifying slightly and more options.

Pochettinho has said the formation was wrong so it's difficult to argue with that. I felt the personale was wrong. No point going into detail.

Our full backs ain't good enough including Danny Rose who for the moon in the sky can not cross a damn ball. Trippier is just all round poor it's not worth saying anything about him

Ajax at times looked sensational but there was chances for us to win. Pochettinho I thought made a mistake not getting Alli closer to Llorente Eriksen dropping to where Alli was asked to play. I was hoping to see Vertonghen as a wingback in this game especially with Llorente up front he is the best wingback at the club.

All said and done we are still in this game

The midfield was always going to be the problem. Alli and Eriksen are woeful atm. It's unbearable watching Alli ball watch and run to the wrong player, school boy stuff. He absolutely cannot play in CM and nor can Eriksen. We are totally dependent on the awesome Sissoko who literally changed the game on his own.
Team for re-match:
Lloris
Trippier Toby Verts Rose
Dier
Sissoko Wanyama
Eriksen
Lucas Son

I fully agree. It's very harsh to criticize his performance, as he really ran his socks off all night. Didn't help that he was playing alongside Llorente, who had a fairly tough go of it out there.

I thought llorente made De ligt look a bit average. He had the beating of him in the air more often than not. I thought llorente played as well as can be expected.

Cretins like that need to fuck off.

If you said we just need to beat axax 1-2 in Amsterdam to reach the final we would all have taken that. We need to go there with the mentality to score 2 goals.

Nonsense, at the height of their powers, they were literally crushed by one man. No great team would suffer such a reverse at the sight of Moussa Sissoko.

This negativity is pathetic. Seriously, why so negative? Every season it's the same weeping and wailing. Try being a bit more biased in our favour, not only is it fun, you also turn out to be right more often than not.

Juventus are 18 points clear at the top of Serie A.

We are 22 points adrift in the Premier League.

They are objectively a better side than us, and if Ajax can trounce them, they can trounce us.

We need to do much, much better and stop taking results for granted.

Trippier is just shite cannot wait until he’s sold.

Our balls into the box were just shit all night, we never drilled one ball in, every time we floated it in and the keeoer had a field day!

SC before the game: It doesn't matter what happens tonight, the players have done brilliantly to get this far and I love them all.
SC after Spurs narrowly lose the game: We're done, never coming back from this, blah blah fucking blah.

Some people expect to win games they have no right to and then get pissy when we don't emerge victorious. They would do well to grow some self-awareness and stop blaming the manager/players/squad for their own unrealistic expectations and ignorance.
