Cool. Doesn't change the fact he is so obviously not tweeting his own info.
This kid looks pretty damn good unfortunately. Have a feeling the deal to Arsenal is pretty much done and this is just the press creating a bit of drama, or St Etienne looking to string a bit of extra cash out of Arsenal.
Why would Arsenal be a players preferred choice in the current climate? They won't offer more money, a better area to live, better facilities or a better coaching team to work under.
If you're a professional, you choose the best place to further your career and at the moment we are a much better place to do that than Arsenal
I agree. I cant believe either us or arsenal (with their apparent tight transfer budget) would by him for 30 million euros though and then loan him back. Doesn't sound like us or them.
Pretty much this.
I've been watching the transfer updates on AFTV (and The United Stand) over the last couple of weeks.
It seems that Arsenal are quite rigidly sticking to their £40m + sales budget and it's causing them issues.
The problem they've got is that that are plenty of players that would go to them (Tierney, Saliba, etc), but their transfer fees would pretty much eat all of their funds.
And their sales won't generate that much revenue either.
So they've got a bit of a headache, juggling purchases, sales, young prospects, free transfers, etc.
As unprofessional as Kane would be if he was offered the chance to sign for Arsenal, perhaps.So... he's unprofessional then?
No mate. Your analysis was spot on!

Possibly because they've tracked him for longer and have made promises about first team opportunities - a reversal of the Vertonghen situation with us in a sense. They might also be offering him high wages...and before anyone says "well if he wants that he's an idiot", it is a factor.
Otherwise, on the face of it, we're in a better position in most other aspects, in particular in terms of managerial stability and quality of squad.
So... he's unprofessional then?
