I like the type of players we are bringing in...young, talented but with so much more potential for Poch to tap into...(y)

We can’t stop buying players.

It is a little overdue and we've only 'potentially' signed two (is that a poem ?)...but I must admit I'm very pleased at the type of players we seem to be looking at....very much with the future in mind....(y)(y)...exciting times.

More a rhyming couplet

It's a little overdue
And potentially we've just signed two
But I think it's safe to say
There are others on the way

Sorted...(y)

It's a little overdue,
And maybe only two,
But I think it's safe to say,
There are others on the way.

(Second line scans better now it's shorter.)

Looks very one footed (right) from what I have seen, but some impressive close control and an others have said certainly a little bit Waddlesque.
I am sure we have done some detailed scouting on him, and these are just the sort of deals that seem to work out for us for some reason. Our record with really big money deals has not often born fruit, but then we don't spend big that often!.

Our record with big money deals has been pretty poor compared to these , what I would say the reason for that is, we've never really gone with our first choice signings.

Its said that in Poch's own words that he has no say in the signing of players and that it is down to the president (Levy ) but surely that is the case at every club the man at the top signs the cheques therefore has the final say .
This must be the case at every club the man at the top decides who they can or cannot afford because if it was left to managers then more than a few clubs would be bankrupt.
If you could imagine H Redknapp having the last say on signings then you would imagine us as a club skint.
Thats not to say Poch has the say on who comes in and who goes out the final choice on players is his .
How much we spend is Levy's bag.
