We kept a clean sheet against Real Madrid with a backline that had two players who've never made a prem appearances (Tanganga and Georgiou) and another who has under 10 league appearances (KWP). They spent most of that time up against Benzema, Hazard, two 45m euro signings (Rodrygo and Vinicius), and Modric.

How are the mighty fallen! I know it’s just a friendly, but RM look like post-Fergie United. No aura of invincibility, just a scalp that everyone now feels they can take. I want them in our CL group.
The amount of times it was repeated that we are at a different stage of our preseason cause we start our season a week earlier, but pretty sure this was Madrid's fourth game of preseason and only our third, and we started preseason a bit later than most cause of the Champions League final ... but anyway. Loved Lamela and Foyth in the first half, and Kane and Ali look to be recovering a bit of the magic from a few seasons back. Youth looking good as well, Taganga very impressive so far over the last few games. Still some questions for me with full-back depth, though.
