Fair pointthey didn't manage to get many shots away but that's because their attackers played the ball behind the man they were trying to find or overdribbled.

Pochettinho is playing players that should of left time ago, time again he is being let down.
We get rid of Pochettinho someone else comes in all the players hit top form What does that say.
Levy has to back the manager
He's got every drop from these players for the last 5 years (have you forgotten) now it's time to move some of them on.What? So the manager not being able to get the best out of these players is proof that he should be backed? What kind of logic is that?
Well I'm home and not sure what to make of it all.
I have never seen Toby make so many mistakes as he did in the first half which was a bit of a damp squib to say the least. We were three at the back pushing out wingbacks forward and feeding the ball out to them but the benefit of that is to get good balls into the box from wide which we never did.
Things improved second half when we brought on Sonny and went four at the back but slackened off again until we brought on Lamela which helped however I reckon the real difference came when we took off Winks for Tanguy, not a popular choice to take off Winksy and leave on Dele but when Tanguy came on we finally had a midfielder carrying the ball moving forward, passing forward and attacking their defence and it eventually paid off. I am still looking forward to seeing Ndombele, Lo Celso and Sessignon in the team together as I am sure that is going to bring a whole new dynamic.
Until then I'm afraid it ain't going to be pretty and I am not sure it's going to get much better.
Jol was nowhere near the manager Poch is.He has and he should get the same level of respect that jol got.
I think Winks, Sissoko and Aurier are struggling.Just on way home. Strange game in many ways but a few things i noticed:-
- first half was dreadful. So slow and were just trying to pass the ball through. Also everyone seemed to have lost their first touch - it was woeful.
- second half different game and was convinced we would find a win. Son, lamela and Ndombele coming on completely changed game in terms of energy, quality and effort. Can see why Son wasn’t started though - he must have been exhausted after North Korea game.
- I can’t entirely blame players for performance. Most were putting in a real shift. I would question whether some are just not good enough though.
- support was poor in first half and all you could hear was the Watford fans. Improved in second half but still just felt nervous.
overall is of course a disappointing result and a win was really needed today. Tuesday a big game now (if it wasn’t already).

And yet he single handedly stopped us from going 2-0 down. All the while Rose gave up on an easy header and was walking back whilst Watford scored down his side.Just got in, I could talk endlessly about the general awfulness of our team but I feel I want to give a special mention to Serge Aurier. For me this guy is without doubt the worst defender we’ve ever had. I remember Dean Austin, Mauricio Tarricco, Gary Doherty, these guys actually gave some degree of thought into what they did despite a lack of talent. Aurier has absolutely no idea what he is doing, is perpetually in mind-boggling positions which, without Sissoko, would be an even more obvious problem and he has no idea when to hold or press. Sometimes I focus solely on him for a minute or two in matches and I’m genuinely in awe. It’s bordering on avante-garde.

No agenda tho.
Mate, if you’re blaming Aurier for that goal, when Rose allowed the cross (whilst walking back) and it went through all of Jan, Toby and Sanchez, you clearly do have an agenda.Hmm pretty sure Doucoure scored for them coming from round Toby’s blind side, the side Aurier couldn’t get back to cover. Danny was high yes, but Jan also had the runner in front of him and didn’t get across early enough. At least 3 people were at fault for the goal, I’m talking about the entire match and the whole of this season, it’s enough to make a judgement call without, as you say, an agenda.
Totally agree. A barely competent left back would have cut out the ball to the winger who put the cross in. Rose totally misjudged it and then put their guy under zero pressureMate, if you’re blaming Aurier for that goal, when Rose allowed the cross (whilst walking back) and it went through all of Jan, Toby and Sanchez, you clearly do have an agenda.
You can’t blame Aurier when every other defender allowed the ball into the box.
