Thats at the end of my road, it used to be a right old dive...when I was little my nan used to live in the little flats opposite and every Saturday night we'd sit looking out of her front window at all the fighting.Sedge was an Enfield lad.
Ive told the story on here before..
It was just before he signed for us that my lot were off to Southend on a beano, the pick up was The Bell/Chimes down in Enfield - I think it's a Turkish restaurant nowadays.
He was on the coach with some of his buddies, nice enough bloke.
This standout memory of the day was that my mate had obtained a pair of trophy knickers from some old sort - I don't know why he was still in possession of them on the coach home but I do remember they ended up on Sedgeley's head.
Good times.
