They should have bought Ryan Fraser, Pepe was such a signing that generated more likes and retweets, guess that appeased social media FC more than anything though.

Aubameyang is out of contract in June 2021. I can't see him signing a new contract at Arsenal. It looks like they'll have to sell him in the summer or lose him on a free.

Ozil, Sokratis, Luiz and Mustafi are all out of contract in 2021.
Only Aubameyang would be missed out of that lot. Heaven knows what they are paying them all as well.

I agree, but they're still going to need to spend a lot on replacements. I doubt they'll get much money for most of those players if they sell them before the contracts expire.

Wolves colleague genuinely thinks Nuno would turn them down. He says he has too much power at Wolves to leave. If he asked the board to back him in the transfer market they would if it meant keeping him

I’m starting to really be glad we got Mourinho in before they thought about appointing him. Would have been an absolute disaster had he gone there and sorted them out.

I had an Athletic email through this morning talking about them not being able to fit Pepe into the team but can’t afford to have such an expensive substitute. It’s amusing because lots of us saw this coming in the summer when he was being lauded by the media left right and centre probably because of his price tag.

Tbf to him, he did have a fantastic season last year.

I just read that Emery wants Arsenal to get the fear factor back.
Dont know what he's on about.
Those fans and players look like they're shitting themselves every time they take to the pitch to me.

Could do with them beating Norwich this weekend to keep Emery in ?

I just think their problems run so deep that even with a new manager they are too many players away from being any kind of force.

I'm genuinely so pleased whenever I see their roster of players. Whoever let them get to this state has to be a Spurs fan.

Think Emery is done personally there. They will most likely go for Allegri, not that concerned, he did pretty well with a brilliant Juv squad, like Emery never looked to me an elite manager like Pep, Klopp or Mourinho but will probably keep them half competitive. I would be more worried if they got Nagglesman that guy looks like he can work with average players and do well.
