Direct physical confrontation could lead to innocent bystanders getting hurt in the melee if it does kick off, especially if kids are nearby.
Good. Let the kids get a boot in aswell.
“Kick it out”

How moronic must someone be to chant racist crap at an opposition player when our players and fans are from all sorts of cultures? Maybe it’s a heat of the moment thing and the person realises they have been at but of a t*** and turns themselves in.
If someone is caught I actually think they should be sent on a course (a bit like speeding drivers) and actually try to be educated about it. Just banning them for life is not solving the wider issue. They’ll still have a shit attitude but just outside of the stadium.
The club don't have the power to force people to take a course, so can only hand out punishments like stadium bans.

The stadium ban should just be the first step. If, as an individual, you are not aware by now that being racist in the street /any public place / a football stadium is both a criminal offence & socially unacceptable then you deserve all that is coming your way in terms of prosecution. How moronic must someone be to chant racist crap at an opposition player when our players and fans are from all sorts of cultures? I should bloody well hope so otherwise it opens up a real can of worms.Do we have any evidence that suggests something did happen?
Yep heard it first hand, towards Son and those Asian fans that attend games to support him.
disgusting.
worst part of this is that it’s the 2nd incident recently (banana throwing).. and we’ve hammered Chelsea as the racist club eh!
TBH calling Alonso, a murder isn't that bad, if he wasn't a footballer he'd be in jailToday I heard the chant "murderer" chanted at Alonso, now, i dont know the details of what happened when he was a youth player but for me, on a human level, that has no place in football.
This is the kind of person you are dealing with during a football match, these people sit around me and I class as decent people but in the moment say shit like that.
All round shit day. I'm told a can of paint has spilt all over the floor at home and it's my fault as I stacked it like Jenga! Balls!
Seems like Rudiger thinks he heard monkey noises.

If there was monkey chants there are cameras everywhere and the truth should prevail.... I am praying it was a mistake and just booing, let's see
Would have been the only over-dramatisation by him tbh. That's the one thing that makes me skeptical, as monkey chanting is very uncommon in the PL crowds.
It's selective and abuse of the very core of what and who you are and leaves you feeling a lesser person, I know to anyone who hasn't suffered it that may be hard to grasp. Whereas anyone can be a shit a scumbag or a toe rag, even a murderer so it is inclusive in its denigration not excluding. Is it allowed to chant whatever you'd like as long as it is not racism, but as soon it is racist, it is so terrible that the persons who did that deserve to be baned for life? Sorry, but to me it seems like that's the general opinion. And I find it kind of ironic and absurd.
